Was Gao Yuan Yuan the third party?

The actress reportedly caused the split between current boyfriend Mark Chao and actress Janine Chang

The romance between Chinese actress Gao Yuan Yuan and Taiwanese actor Mark Chao has been received positively until recent reports which claimed that the actress caused Mark to split from Taiwanese actress Janine Chang.

Janine and Mark had worked together on Black & White together and were romantically linked. A source claimed that the two were indeed dating and only broke up after Yuan Yuan came into the picture.

Janine was quizzed about the reports recently and shared that she did not know Yuan Yuan personally, adding that she had not contacted Mark for a long time as he has been busy working in the mainland and is rarely in Taiwan.

She expressed, "We're just good friends, I wasn't affected in any way (by the rumours). If he's in a happy relationship now, of course I'll feel happy for him."
