Denise Ho and Waa Wei rumoured to have dated in secret
Denise Ho's sexual orientation has been under close media scrutiny since her ambiguous relationship with good friend Joey Yung was revealed. After Joey was revealed to be dating mutual friend Wilfred Lau, Denise's cryptic post on her micro-blog hinted that the two had fallen out, effectively putting an end to the rumours that the she was dating Joey.
Recently, new rumours that Denise is dating Taiwanese singer Waa Wei have surfaced; the two have been secretly dating for half a year according to reports. The two worked closely together for one of Denise's latest songs, 'Infatuated', with Waa penning the lyrics.
A source close to Waa disclosed, "Waa suddenly announced that she broke up with her longtime boyfriend at the start of the year and introduced Denise to all her friends and fellow musicians." Waa was said to have brought Denise along for all her gatherings with friends and posted numerous 'couple shots' of them on her personal Facebook, raising suspicions that the two are more than just friends.
The Facebook photos were removed after Denise appeared to be a "victim" of the Wilfred-Joey relationship, and only Waa's photos with Denise's parents remain in the online album. Their close friends have claimed that Waa often visits Hong Kong and follows Denise out even when she is working. It is said that only close friends, including Eason Chan, know of the true relationship between the two.
