Are Sandy Lam and Jun Kung engaged?

The drummer is said to have gotten Sandy to accept his wedding proposal at his birthday party

Sandy Lam & Jun Kung

Sandy Lam and Jun Kung have long maintained that their relationship is purely platonic in spite of numerous speculations that the two are in a relationship. The 46-year-old singer held her MMXII concert at the Taipei Arena last Sunday, where 35-year-old Jun Kung once again played the drums.

The two even sang a duet, Rainy Days, where they openly hugged each other on stage and Jun Kung called her "sexy baby". The two showed a sizzling chemistry which led to further speculations that there is more to their relationship.

That night, they also celebrated Jun Kung's birthday, which fell on the first day of the concert, August 18. After the concert ended, the crew together with his family celebrated his birthday at a nightclub.

According to friends who were at the celebration, Jun Kung cut the cake together with Sandy and shockingly went down on bended knee to ask for her hand in marriage. Sandy is said to have been overjoyed and said yes in the presence of their friends.

This is reportedly Jun Kung's second attempt at proposing to the singer. The first was when they were vacationing in Macau, where he is said to have proposed while singing to her. She reportedly turned him down as she had not obtained the green light from her close friends and teenage daughter.
