Ekin Cheng Announce Plans to Wed Yoyo Mung Next Year

Ekin Cheng (郑伊健) and Yoyo Mung (蒙嘉慧) are finally taking their 6-year romance to the next stage! At a celebratory event for his Hong Kong concert, Ekin announced that he plans to marry Yoyo next year. Two days ago, Ekin’s concert at Hong Kong Coliseum was attended by many of his celebrity friends, including Jordan Chan (陈小春), Chin Ka Lok (錢嘉樂), Angela Tong (湯盈盈), Jerry Lamb (林曉峰), Toby Leung (梁靖琪) , Eric Kot (葛民輝) and Niki Chow (周麗淇).

Ekin’s Friends Pressure Him to Get Married

At the concert, Ekin thanked his girlfriend, Yoyo, for constantly reminding him to deliver his best for his concert. The audiences also cheered and shouted, “Get married!” and ”Proposed to her!” However, Ekin chose to not respond to the audiences’ prompts.

After singing a song with his Young and Dangerous <古惑仔> costars and friends, Ekin was grilled on his wedding plans with Yoyo. Chin Ka Lok said, “You promised to talk about it tonight!” Ekin then replied, “Yes, let’s talk about your wedding!”

Jordon then invited Yoyo on stage, in which Ekin turned pale upon hearing it. Ekin had no choice and then said, “Okay, I will talk. It’s a very private matter between my girlfriend and I. We do not like to discuss it openly. I confess that I am a very romantic person, if not how can I sing love songs for everyone to listen?”

At this point, Leo Ku (古巨基) went on stage and exclaimed, “Today, the producer called me and wanted to spring a surprise on Ekin Cheng. He also said you will announce to invite me to your wedding!” Leo then led the audiences to shout, “Ekin and Yoyo, quickly get married!”

Ekin was embarrassed and replied, “If I get married, I will invite you for sure!”

Wedding to Be Held Next Year

At the celebratory event, Ekin highlighted that he would never propose on stage as it was a very private matter between a couple. However, Ekin disclosed that he will get married with Yoyo next year.

Asked when is the exact date of his wedding, Ekin said, “Of course, I won’t say! We have not decided where to hold it yet. We will decide based on our feelings.”

Yoyo was asked if Ekin had proposed to her; she replied, “We have prepared it halfway. We will start planning for it again when we have time.”

Emperor artist Carlos Chan Ka Lok and singer Mag Lam Yun Tung played a young couple in the film DIVA. Chan Ka Lok said that before the shoot he did not know Lam Yun Tung well. "Before the shoot I knew I had scenes with her. We went outside for work several times, but we didn't communicate even though we were in the same vehicle. I wasn't scared until the actual shoot when the first shot was already a hand holding scene, which made everyone feel very awkward." Ka Lok said that during the shoot the feeling of first love returned to him. He even praised Lam Yun Tung as direct. "She is very direct, no one needs to guess what she is thinking because she would say it. In real life a girlfriend like this would be the best, I am very afraid of guessing what she is thinking."

In addition, Ka Lok also praised Best Actress Wai Ying Hung's outstanding acting and thanked her for teaching him how to act. He said, "She wasn't mean at all. She taught me how to take the mark on and off camera. She even taught me how to get into the character. I was very honored to have a chance to work with her."

Who says romance in idol movies have to have passionate scenes to stimulate the audience's eyeballs? Japanese model Linah Matsuoka and Chrissie Chau Sau Na's junior colleague Dominic Ho Ho Man in their new film played an innocent romance. This pair could not be bother with the other actors' "action scenes" stealing the spotlight. Dominic said, "We don't mind. Everyone's route is different. Ours is a pure love. If a movie only has action scene, too much of it would be tiring. So you have to watch something with drama." Linah agreed, "I feel bed scene isn't necessary. The love story between the DJ and the policeman is very special, and I like it very much too."

Although they did not have any bed scene, kiss scene of course could not be avoided. Yet they were never serious, during the shoot comedy ensued. Dominic said, "She laughed while she kissed, but I didn't what she was laughing at. We ended up having to shoot it several times. Although I didn't feel much, she is a pretty good kisser." Linah seemed to be savoring the moment. she said, "This scene! was pre tty romantic, I am very satisfied with the result."

They look very well matched. During the interview they could not stop playing. Although Dominic is already with someone, he still praised Linah as a nice girl and was not afraid of any rumor. He said, "I like happy girls, and she is always so happy. People say that Japan are many pretty girls. I say some have come to Hong Kong. She is just one of them." Even so, he did not forget to ease his girlfriend's mind. "However the electricity is just limited to in the movie. Before the kiss scene I told my girlfriend so I wasn't afraid of her misunderstanding."

Chapman To Man Jat, DaDa Chen Jing, Krystal Tin Yui Nei, Susan Shaw Yam Yam, Simon Lui Yu Yeung and director Pang Ho Cheung two nights ago attended the film VULGARIA (DAI JOOK HEI KET)'s second celebration banquet to celebrate its three week box office run toward HK$25 million and a belated birthday celebration for Sister Yam Yam. Sister Yam Yam said that her birthday wish was for the box office to reach 60 million like the earlier Taiwan hit film YOU ARE THE APPLE OF MY EYE. At the same time, To Man Jat announced that he, Pang Ho Cheung and the boss will treat the team to a vacation in Tokyo.

To Man Jat said that the trip will have 70 people and will cost around 1 million; since the film made a profit, the boss of course had to thank the team. This time he, the director and the boss paid in proportion to their wealth. Did he ask his wife Tin Yui Nei before hand? He said that of course, his wife definitely would agree for this.

Shaw Yam Yam's friend Gordon Liu (Lau Ka Fai)'s current wife after his stroke reportedly taught their son to ask their father for money and that Lau Ka Fai was a big spender. The Johnnie To Kei Fung directed THE BLIND DETECTIVE (MAN TAM) two nights ago continued to shoot in Mongkok. The team constructed a 3 story tall scaffold for the panoramic shoot then divided into two for the close up shoot. As soon as Andy Lau Tak Wa and Sammi Cheng Sau Man appeared, fans began to scream.

Wa Jai and Sammi put on heavy clothes in the heat and traversed on the streets, but they were very professional and did not complain. Two nights ago Chun Wong was also on hand. Soon after the shoot, he was already completely soaked from the heat.

Due to too many onlookers, the scene gradually became hard to control as To Sir began to get frustrated. The crew kept asking people not to use flash photography but to no avail. To Sir threw a tantrum at the crew. Wa Jai and Sammi after the shoot immediately ran off to their vehicles for temporary shelter. T! he shoot finally was completed late at night.
8.27 Tracy Chu To Act In Andy Lau Series?
Freshly baked second runner-up, Tracy Chu (朱千雪) had an outstanding performance last night. However, she only managed to place third even though she had the highest number of votes among the interviewed guests. Tracy also won the support from many netizens who called for a re-election of the pageant. She laughed and said, "My family did not feel unworthy of my lost. Rumors say that TVB will arrange Tracy Chu to act in a Andy Lau series to comfort her lost. Tracy said, "If this is true, then it is absolutely not a comfort prize. However, no one has told me yet. Winners To Carry On MHK Duties Before Filming Series

TVB's Director of Production Resources, Virginia Lok confirmed the rumor as a misunderstanding and said, "How could that be so quick? After the announcement of the top 3 winners, the MC joked that Tracy Chu would not be able to film with Andy if she wins champion. Perhaps, that is where the misunderstanding began." Virginia explained that Tracy yet has to fulfill her MHK responsibilities, so she would not be filming series anytime soon.

Praised MHK Winners As Potential Artists

Virginia praised Tracy and said, "Tracy really has Linda Chung's trace. She gave me the pure-looking impression during the preliminary interviews. It is really easy for her to enter the entertainment industry. Jacqueline's appearance is suitable to film ancient series. Carat is eloquent, and has the requirements to become an artist."

This is gonna be just a real brief review...

My Comments:
Thought the series started off pretty interesting but not like it was really all that good to be honest and it slowly got kinda boring... Well, not very very boring, it was still watchable. But I really see no point of cutting 8 episodes of Witness Insecurity for Ghetto Justice II. I don't see anything that good in airing this in such a rush. Was there another reason...?! O.o
Anyway.. I realised all the cases they used (i THINK all...) are real cases in Hong Kong with their own adjustments and stuff, like the police case with Raymond and others. I thought it was pretty interesting using real cases into the drama, I think many HK people would probably like seeing it. Though it might be boring sometimes seeing the same old cases. The ending was very expecting, glad he didn't need to go to jail again lol.
I didn't like the addition cast of Christine at first since she might affect Kevin and Myo's relationship. Glad she didn't affect as much as I thought it would. Most dramas I've seen really affect alot but glad it wasn't a ! lot, jus t a bit here and there. But I still didn't really like her character that much. I really enjoy watching Kevin and Myo's relationship, like how they muck around and stuff. I liked how Kevin was saying he wouldn't go find Myolie until she finds him but he ends up buying flowers for her LOL. I thought it was a waste how they didn't mention Kevin reailse Myolie made him a cake and bought Egg Tart + Milk Tea for him. Both those scenes ended with Christine's interference :/ Wish he had realised...

Characters:
Kevin Cheng (Law Lik Ah/LA) - Really liked the character Law Ba, he's hilarious, funny and smart :) Its funny how he always doesn't seem to care much and eats a lot xD It was sad seeing how his friends and people in Sham Sui Po kinda abandon him when he was helping Raymond... they won't believe in him.. when they've known him for so long :/ Personally find it a bit sad how they can do that...

Myolie Wu (Wong Sze Fu/Kris) - Still find her chinese character name funnt ^^ Sometimes I think Myo's character is a bit too stubborn?! :/ She seems to go against Kevin's plans all the time with cases. Sometimes I find it a bit too exaggerating how they always (well only twice i think) are the only lawyers coincidentally hired by both sides of the case to fight each other. It's like their the only good laywers in HK or something lol.

Sorry, i cbb writing the other characters. Feeling so tired right now.

Worth Watching?
It'd say its a drama where you can choose to watch or not. It's not something you HAVE to watch nor NOT watch. But overall, the drama is alright.
8.26 Roxanne Tong Showed Sad Face At Celebration Dinner
Hotshot contestant Roxanne Tong's lost was unexpected. She admitted being unhappy with the results because her goal was to secure a spot in top 3. Michael Miu said not to get discouraged that the pageant has come to its end. The pageant has given her knowledge and invaluable lessons of society. A splendid life is ahead of her, and asked for Roxanne to keep fighting!

1+1 Does Not Necessarily Equal To 2

Tong Chun Chung took this opportunity to teach Roxanne, saying that one plus one does not necessarily equal to two and things might not turn out to be the way she expected. He posted on Weibo, explaining he could only have been silently supporting Roxanne throughout the pageant because of identity problems. He wrote, "If this pageant was the ending point, then she really failed. But this is just one embellishment, one short music piece, and one experience in life. This is to let you know that one plus one does not necessarily equal to two. Add oil!"

Gave It Her Best Effort, No Future Plans Yet

Roxanne Tong (湯洛雯) said, "My performance was not good enough, but I am unaware of which part I did poorly on. I have tried my best already. (As said, unplaced contestants have an advantage of filming in series?) I am still questioning about my whereabouts because I am TVB contracted from winning Tourism Ambassador. (What are you thoughts about the system failure?) I absolutely have no computer knowledge background, so I do not quite understand." Roxanne does not think Jacqueline Wong's (黄心颖) win was unexpected, as she is a calm and fluent speaker.

Showed Sad Face At Celebration Dinner

Roxanne expressed appreciation to her family and friends' support via Weibo with a conscious say that she won friendship and an experience. She will eat a midnight snack when she returns home, and continue to work hard tomorrow.

Cynthia Tsang Does Not Intend to Stay in HK

Cynthia Tsang (曾明俐) joined this pageant with a normal attitude, so she is not unhappy over the defeating results. Every contestant was an eligible winner, and she is happy on behalf of the winning contestants. She has no plans of staying on HK, but might try with a given opportunity.
