Sandy Lam refutes engagement rumours

Sandy Lam has spoken: She is "absolutely not" engaged.

Earlier reports suggesting that drummer Jun Kung had proposed to her on his birthday were shot down by the singer at a promotional event for her new album, where she expressed, "There is absolutely nothing of the sort, I find reports like that funny when I come across them."

Her upcoming album, Gaia, which is set to be released next month, is highly anticipated after a six-year hiatus from the singer.

Sandy was previously wed to singer-songwriter Jonathan Lee for six years and when probed if she would consider trying again for her happily ever after, she candidly expressed that she has no current plans for marriage but added that she will not rule out the possibility as she does not know what the future holds.

Thanking everyone for their concern, she shared, "Being in (a relationship) makes me happy and I will treasure it but will not be too intent on marriage. (I'll) leave it to fate."

With a smile, the 46-year-old mused, "Love is a beautiful thing (and I) will treasure everything I have."
