Will Chen Bo Lin and Ariel Lin emerge as winners in the upcoming Golden Bell Awards?

The onscreen couple received nominations at the annual Taiwanese television awards show

Actor Chen Bo Lin and actress Ariel Lin have been nominated in the Best Actor and Best Actress category at the 47th Golden Bell Awards. The duo acted as a couple in the popular Taiwanese drama In Time With You. The drama received eight nominations at the annual awards which honours outstanding performance in the Chinese entertainment industry.
When he learned about his nomination, Bo Lin thanked producers for giving him his well-loved role and exclaimed, "I feel scared as this is my first time being nominated for such a big event."
His co-star, Ariel, won the Best Actress award four years ago for her role in They Kiss Again, whom she acted alongside with actor Joseph Cheng. However, she was thankful to be nominated again. She also thanked her co-star and those involved in the production of the drama.
Ariel's good friend, Liu Yue, was also nominated in the Best Actress category for her role in China drama Way Back Into Love. Being close friends, Liu Yue said jokingly to Ariel, "Sister, you won the award four years ago. Just let me have it this year."
Due to the overwhelming popularity of their drama, Bo Lin and Ariel have received many endorsement deals. Chen is said to be endorsing six products and had earned about TWD$ 20 mil (approximately S$ 840,000) this year. Ariel reportedly has four endorsement deals and had earned more than TWD$ 1 billion (approximately S$ 42 million).
Local actor Christopher Lee earned a nomination in the Best Actor in Mini Drama/Movie category for his role in his first Taiwanese movie Forgotten opposite Ruby Lin. This nomination makes him the first Singaporean artiste to be listed in the prestigious award show.
