Brave Brother's project single "You Got Some Nerve" featuring BEAST's Junhyung, Bigstar's Feeldog and EXID's LE has finally been released.

Over the last few days, teasers for each of the three rappers were revealed. This hip-hop number holds lyrics about a couple who explains their respective side of the story after getting into a fight. It is said that Yong Junhyung and LE took part in writing the lyrics to this song.

While the song was originally set to have a 19+ rating due to its profane lyrics, it was later changed to 15+ rating to have it accessible to younger fans. Due to this sudden chance, Brave Brothers was accused of noise marketing.

Despite these noise marketing accusations, "You Got Some Nerve" climbed to the top of the music charts on the day of its release. Brave Brother's other hit song "Gone Not Around Any Longer" is currently battling "You Got Some Nerve" in many of these music charts.

  • Infinite's Woo Hyun to Sing Duet With Female Indie Singer

    Great news, Infinite fans!

Infinite's Woo Hyun will collaborate with female indie artist Lucia and their duet song "Cactus" will be released on February 27.

This will be the second project from "Re:Code," which is being planned and produced by Loen Entertainment. The project concept is to take tracks from skillful underground artists and arrange them in a way to encourage mainstream exposure. The underground artists will collaborate with popular artists, who will lend their voices to the newly arranged tracks. The first project "Officially Missing You," a collaboration between Sistar's Soyu and hip hop artist Geeks, was met with great success.

"Cactus" is a well-loved song by fans who are into the indie genre. The mature lyrics describe the heartache of ending a relationship and how the ego is figuratively like a cactus. Woo Hyun's fresh and mature voice will be a great match with Lucia's airy and slightly husky voice.

Soompiers, are there any indie artists you wish who could have more mainstream exposure?

Check out the video below and Pastel Music's official youtube channel if you're interested in Lucia's voice and want to broaden your K-Pop music knowledge.

  • Why Japanese fall out of love with their pin-up idols
goo Ranking has a survey that shines a little bit of light in a corner of Japanese culture that gives me the willies, quite frankly, with a look at why people fall out of love with a liked idol.

    Demographics
Over the 9th and 10th of January 2013 1,072 members of the goo Research monitor group completed a private internet-based questionnaire. 59.4% of the sample were female, 8.5% in their teens, 14.1% in their twenties, 29.8% in their thirties, 27.1% in their forties, 10.4% in their fifties, and 10.2% aged sixty or older. Note that the score in the results refers to the relative number of votes for each option, not a percentage of the total sample.

The idol culture (note that both boys and girls can be idols) is a bit scary at times, in particular the grown men who chase AKB48. From a female point of view, I would guess that Takarazuka Revue stars would be considered idols.
