Josh Brolin is 'doing well' in the wake of his recent split from Diane Lane and their decision to file for divorce was 'mutual', according to his father James Brolin
Diane Lane and Josh Brolin's divorce was a ''mutual'' decision.
The 45-year-old 'True Grit' actor is ''doing well'' in the wake of his split from the 'Perfect Storm' actress - who signed her divorce papers on Valentine's Day (14.02.13) - and according to his father James Brolin, their separation is amicable.
James, who accompanied his wife Barbra Streisand to the Oscars on Sunday (24.02.13), told People.com: ''He's great. You know, everything is mutual. It's all okay. Evidently he's doing well. Everything is fine.''
The 48-year-old actress cited February 13 as the official date of her separation from Josh, even though friends claim the marriage was over for some time, and signed the papers the next day, the most romantic day of the year.
The former couple were originally introduced in 2002 by Barbra and married in 2004 at the actor's sprawling ranch in California.
A source previously revealed: ''They've been separated for several months. This was a hard decision for both of them to make. The relationship just ran its course.''
This will be the second divorce for both celebrities. Diane was married to actor Christopher Lambert from 1988 to 1994, while Josh previously split from Alice Adair, with whom he has two kids, Trevor, 24, and Eden, 18.
The split comes not long after Josh opened up about their marriage.
He said: ''She's a very strong woman, extremely strong.
''We're not really in the spotlight. I mean, we are in times like this [interview], but, you know, there's one light. We just do our own thing, and we always have.
''And we're not in LA all the time, we're up north a lot of the time where I grew up, so, you know, you just do what you do. You don't play up into the hype so much.''
  • Miranda Kerr not ready for another baby
Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom are not ready for another baby but hope to expand their family one day

Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom are not ready for another baby but hope to expand their family one day
Miranda Kerr isn't ready to have more children.
The Australian supermodel - who has a two-year-old son Flynn with her British actor husband Orlando Bloom - has revealed that although the couple is looking forward to expanding their family, they are not ready to have another baby just yet.
Asked whether they are planning to have another baby soon, the 29-year-old Victoria's Secret model told 'Entertainment Tonight Canada': ''I love motherhood. Someday, but not right now.''
The brunette beauty, who married Orlando, 36, in 2010, explained that despite the huge amount of travelling they have to do for their careers, they try to make sure Flynn sticks to a schedule and enjoys a normal childhood.
She said: ''We have the schedule planned out for him. We make sure he's doing his play dates, he's doing enough reading time, he's doing enough drawing and painting, arts and crafts and also a lot of fun time. We like to dance. You know, turn the music up, dancing around the kitchen. It's one of our favourite pastimes.''
When she's not working, Miranda likes to spend a lot of quality time with Flynn without any distractions because she feels it is important to be ''present with him when I am there, phones off, like the bonding one-on-one time.''
Miranda recently became the new spokesperson for Kids Helpline, which provides free phone and online counselling to youngsters aged between five and 25, and previously revealed her son inspired her to take on the role.
She said: ''I want every child in Australia to know that there is someone who will listen to them, someone who can talk to them, no matter how big or small the issue.''
  • Tina Fey won't host the Oscars

Tina Fey won't host the Oscars in 2014 because she thinks it would be too much work
Tina Fey has no desire to host the Oscars.
The '30 Rock' writer and star was tipped to take on the high profile job in 2014 by last Sunday's (24.02.13) presenter Seth MacFarlane, after she won rave reviews for co-hosting the Golden Globes alongside her friend Amy Poehler earlier this month, but she thinks the job would be too stressful.
Speaking to The Huffington Post, the 42-year-old star said: ''I just feel like that gig is so hard. Especially for, like, a woman - the amount of months that would be spent trying on dresses alone . . . No way.''
The 'Admission' actress admitted that while she ''had fun'' presenting with Amy, it is unlikely she will change her mind about the Oscars.
She said: ''I wish I could tell you there was.''
This year's host Seth, who spent five months preparing for the event, previously revealed he will never take on the job at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood again.
The 'Family Guy' creator - who has received a mixed response for his anchoring of the prestigious ceremony - had a lot of ''fun'' at the helm of the Academy Awards, but insisted it isn't an experience he wants to repeat.
He tweeted: ''Would you host the #Oscars again if asked? No way. Lotta fun to have done it, though. (sic)''
Previous hosts have also included Billy Crystal, James Franco, Anne Hathaway, Alec Baldwin, Steve Martin, Hugh Jackman, Jon Stewart and Ellen DeGeneres.

Clive Davis has praised Frank Ocean for helping to change attitudes towards bisexuality in the music industry and credits him with helping home to be honest about his own relationships with men
Clive Davis credits Frank Ocean for giving him the courage to reveal his bisexuality.
The music mogul - who confessed in his new memoir 'The Soundtrack to My Life' to having sexual relationships with men after divorcing his second wife in 1985 - is grateful that the hip-hop community have embraced the 'Pyramids' singer, who revealed last summer that his first love was a man, and Clive believes his honesty has helped move the music industry forward.
The 80-year-old producer told theGrio.com: ''I discuss bisexuality [in the book] because it's so misunderstood. For me later in life I could be attracted to a woman, I could be attracted to man. Each story is different. I'm very gratified in the case of Frank Ocean that the hip-hop community has embraced him. And maybe we're reaching that time where people can judge everyone without reference to their sexual preference or identity.''
Clive - who was the late Whitney Houston's former manager and discovered the 'I Will Always Love You' hitmaker when she was just 20 - previously revealed that his bisexuality came as a surprise to him.
He said: ''For over 50 years, I never had sex with a male. It wasn't repressed - I had very good sexual relationships with women. Never for me ... this very maligned and misunderstood subject of bisexuality came up.''
He also confessed to having a 13-year relationship with a doctor and a seven-year relationship with another man.
  • Jennifer Aniston to take Justin Theroux's name?

Jennifer Aniston is reportedly going to take Justin Theroux's surname when they tie the knot and are said to be planning their wedding for when Jennifer finishes shooting her current film on March 8.
Jennifer Aniston is reportedly taking Justin Theroux's surname when they wed.
The former 'Friends' actress got engaged to her 'Wanderlust' co-star last August after he proposed to her on his 41st birthday (10.08.12) and Jennifer is said to be so smitten with her fiancé that she plans to change her trademark name to show the world how much she loves him.
A source revealed to People magazine: ''She plans on privately changing her name to Theroux. She likes the way it sounds and jokes that [Jennifer Theroux] sounds very posh. They really seem to have perfect chemistry, like they complete each other.
''There's a perfect balance. He was doting when she turned to him [at the Oscars], but the overall vibe was simply fun and effortless. [Jen] is crazy about Justin and can't wait to be his wife. Jen seems more confident than ever and they've become a great team.''
Jennifer, 44, and Justin, 41, are allegedly hoping to tie the knot shortly after the screen beauty finishes working on her latest film, currently known as the 'Elmore Leonard Project', in Connecticut on March 8.
The couple have even designed their own wedding bands to make the ceremony more personal.
The source added: ''It will be a small affair with their closest friends.''
Jennifer - who was previously married to Hollywood heartthrob Brad Pitt, who is now engaged to Angelina Jolie - thinks life couldn't be ''better'' now Justin is in her life.
The insider said: ''Jen was always very grateful for everything that she had. But now life could not be better. And she deserves all the happiness in the world.''

Rolling Stones bassist Bill Wyman opened his new art exhibition 'Bill Wyman: Reworked' at London's Rook and Raven Gallery in Westminster on Tuesday night (26.02.13) with guests including Twiggy and Mick Hucknall.
Bill Wyman opened his new exhibition 'Bill Wyman: Reworked' in London on Tuesday evening (26.02.13).
The former Rolling Stones bassist unveiled the re-imaginations of his photographs of the legendary band by various artists - including cartoonist Gerald Scarfe - at the Rook and Raven Gallery in Westminster, where he was joined by his wife of 20 years Suzanne Accosta and daughters Jessica and Matilda.
Speaking about his choices, Bill said: ''I gave Gerald Scarfe a few choices and and he chose the Keith Richard boxer pose, which is a mad one.
''He's a lovely natural man and we seem to bump into each other and we always have a chat. It's nice to have that close relationship which I don't have with the other artists.''
Gerald's portfolio includes the animations for Pink Floyd's film 'The Wall' and Disney animation 'Hercules'.
Bill entrusted him to recreate some of his pictures as artwork after being impressed by Gerald's sketches of Rolling Stones singer Sir Mick Jagger from the 1980s.
Bill explained: ''He gave me two cartoons he did of Mick in the '80s which are hilarious and he signed them for me.
''They have this great huge mouth with a little body behind it with skinny legs.''
One piece which turned heads on the opening night was a portrait of Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts, showing the musician resting his chin on his hand with a smile on his face which stencil artist Penny had added a bright blue butterfly to.
Stars in attendance included model Twiggy, actor John Hurt and former Simply Red singer Mick Hucknall.
'Bill Wyman: Reworked' is on now until March 31.
  • Blake Fielder-Civil couldn't accept Amy Winehouse was dead
Blake Fielder-Civil thought prison officials were mistaken when they told him his ex-wife Amy Winehouse had passed away in July 2011 until he saw the news reports for himself.

Blake Fielder-Civil thought prison officials were mistaken when they told him his ex-wife Amy Winehouse had passed away in July 2011 until he saw the news reports for himself.
Blake Fielder-Civil refused to accept Amy Winehouse was dead when he was told she had passed away.
The reformed heroin addict - who was married to the late singer from May 2007 to February 2009 - was shell-shocked when he was told Amy had passed away from an alcohol overdose during his time in jail for burglary and possession of an imitation fire arm in July 2011.
He repeatedly told the prison officers they must have it wrong until they showed him the proof in several news reports.
Speaking in a candid interview on TV programme 'The Jeremy Kyle Show', Blake said: ''One of the senior officers ... said, 'This is never easy, but Amy has died.' For about two of three minutes I just kept saying, 'No, no, this is not true. It'll be someone who looks like her, it will be a hoax.'
''I made them show me six or seven websites and each time they showed me a computer I'm finding it harder and harder to say no and eventually they showed me the latest update. At that point I broke down, I couldn't stop crying and then I had to get put back in my cell.''
Blake has been blamed for introducing Amy - who struggled with excessive alcohol and drug use before her untimely death at the age of 27 - to illicit substances, but he believes she would have got into hard drugs without his influence.
Blake believes the pressure she was under because of her worldwide fame and success led her to move on from cannabis to cocaine initially.
The one-time hellraiser - who accepts he was responsible for giving Amy heroin for the first time - said: ''When I used to do cocaine and Amy was around, there were one or two times I asked her, 'Do you want to try it?' She'd say, 'No, that's not for me.' That was when we first started seeing each other.
''But (I remember) she'd gone out to put the finishing touches to 'Back to Black' and she brought her laptop to this pub in Soho and she was playing me the songs and I was really impressed, I was saying, 'This is amazing.' Then she sheepishly said she had some cocaine, I remember being really angry ... I think the fact she went from being anti-cocaine, to within a year being at the BRIT Awards and getting that momentum of fame, to taking cocaine to buying cocaine. She was under massive pressure.''
  • Courteney Cox bringing Matthew Perry to Cougar Town
Courteney Cox, who recently shot an episode of her former 'Friends' co-star Matthew Perry's new sitcom, will reunite with him again on her show 'Cougar Town'.

Courteney Cox, who recently shot an episode of her former 'Friends' co-star Matthew Perry's new sitcom, will reunite with him again on her show 'Cougar Town'.
Courteney Cox has revealed Matthew Perry will appear in 'Cougar Town'.
The actress recently filmed a guest appearance on her former 'Friends' co-star's new comedy 'Go On', and after having a ''blast'' shooting the episode, it looks as though they will again reunite on her latest TV show.
The 48-year-old star fielded questions from fans on Twitter last night (26.02.13) and quizzed when another of her former castmates would appear on the racy series, she said: ''As soon as we go back on the air you'll be enjoying @MatthewPerry (sic)''
Courteney's former 'Friends' co-stars Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow have already popped up on the show about a 40-something single mother getting back into the dating scene.
The co-stars, who played Monica and Chandler Bing on the hit sitcom for 10 years, were reunited on the set of 'Go On' last week, and Courteney was buzzing about the experience, tweeting: ''Shooting GO ON today and having a blast with Matthew! (sic)''
Later posting a picture of the pair on set, she added: ''My first box husband.''
'Friends' - which also starred Matt Le Blanc and David Schwimmer - made fans laugh for 10 seasons before ending in 2004, and it seems the regular viewers aren't the only ones who enjoy catching repeats of the show on TV.
Courteney tweeted: ''I see it when i'm in bed sometimes and it always makes me laugh (sic)''
And it seems the famously close-knit cast are still real-life friends.
The actress added: ''I've talked to them a lot more recently than i normally do. (sic)''

  • Earlier today, the members of the Stone Temple Pilots released a statement saying that they have officially fired Scott Weiland as the lead singer of the band. And what's worse is that the poor schmuck found out the same way you and I did: the internet.
Now, Scott has issued a response to the termination and it's apparently going to get ugly. TMZ reports:
Scott just released a statement in response to STP's press release this morning — in which the band claims they "officially terminated" Weiland from the group.
Scott said, "I learned of my supposed 'termination' from Stone Temple Pilots this morning by reading about it in the press."
He added, "Not sure how I can be 'terminated' from a band that I founded, fronted, and co-wrote many of its biggest hits, but that's something for the lawyers to figure out."
STP really wouldn't be the same band without Scott, so we're not digging this whatsoever. It's really dirty and underhanded for them to fire him, but let him find out that he's fired on the internet. I hope he sticks it to them.
  • Emily Maynard Wanted To Do Dancing With The Stars

If you seen all of the names on the new casting list for the upcoming season of Dancing With The Stars and thought "Who?!?" then you are not alone. There is one name that you will recognize who wanted to do the show, but apparently was not chosen. Emily Maynard, the former Bachelorette, really wanted to appear on the show and dance for the mirror ball trophy:
Emily Maynard is dancing with herself. In the March 11 issue of Us Weekly (on stands Friday), multiple sources reveal the former Bachelorette is crushed she wasn't asked to compete during the sixteenth season of ABC's Dancing With the Stars.
"She is angry," an insider says of the 27-year-old single mom, while another source says she "desperately wanted" to participate in the show. (Bachelor alums Melissa Rycroft and Jake Pavelka have each competed on Dancing With the Stars, and Rycroft won the All-Stars season in November 2012 with the help of pro partner Tony Dovolani.)
Maynard "badly" wanted to be back in the spotlight, a pal tells Us. "Who wouldn't? It looks like fun!"
It definitely might've been a better season with Emily on it, don't you think? The names that were announced were boring — except for our hot Irish prince, Tristan MacManus. Unf.

  • Kim Kardashian & Kanye West Naked For French Magazine

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are featured on the front cover of the latest edition of L'Officiel Hommes. That is a French magazine, in case you weren't aware. It doesn't matter, really, because Kim will always be pimping herself out for the almighty dollar. It doesn't really matter where she is, what she's doing or who she's with. It's all about the money.
Besides, the cover of this magazine really reminds people how Kim got famous in the first place. She was spreading her legs for fame then and here she is doing it again for the same purpose. We're not surprised, really.
We would be more surprised if this broad started closing her legs for once. It's not like her future children don't already have enough to be embarrassed over. What do you think?
  • Jennifer Aniston Is Getting Ready For Her Wedding

Soon, Jennifer Aniston will be tying the knot with her sweetie, Justin Theroux. Since she is almost finished filming her new movie in Connecticut, it appears that she will have plenty of time to get some wedding planning done. Of course, she will be a gorgeous bride and will likely have the best of everything at her second wedding.
People magazine reports that Jen is still in the planning stages for her big day:
The actress, 44, is in the process of planning her wedding to screenwriter-actor Justin Theroux, 41 – and she has already checked off some major tasks on her to-do list, including choosing wedding bands, setting a date and narrowing down dresses.
Just don't expect the wedding, which is likely to take place soon after Aniston wraps her current film in Connecticut on March 8, to be a lavish production.
"It will be a small affair with their closest friends," a source close to Aniston tells PEOPLE in this week's cover story.
In the meantime, the bride-to-be is enjoying life with her future groom.
"Jen seems more confident than ever," says the source, "and they've become a great team."
Did you expect Jennifer to have some huge wedding planned this time around? Or are you not surprised that she opted for something smaller and more intimate?
  • Lindsay Lohan Was Drinking At The Time Of Her Accident?

Lindsay Lohan might have been boozing it up just before her crash on the Pacific Coast Highway last June. You would think that this revelation might actually make things worse for Lindsay, but you would be wrong, wrong, wrong! TMZ reports:
Lindsay Lohan may have been drinking just before she crashed her Porsche last June on Pacific Coast Highway … TMZ has learned. Nevertheless, prosecutors are offering her a brand new plea deal that does NOT involve jail.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … a bottle of alcohol was found next to Lindsay's Porsche, and we're told her breath smelled of alcohol. For some reason, cops did not perform a field sobriety test at the scene of the crash.
Sources tell us … the Santa Monica City Attorney is prepared to offer Lindsay 60 days in a residential rehab facility in her lying-to-cops case — where she said she wasn't driving the Porsche. That's 4 months less than the original offer.
In addition, we're told the City Attorney wants Lindsay to attend another set of AA meetings. And he wants her to do community service. We're told the prosecutor will let her do the community service in New York City, but — unlike Chris Brown — it must be closely monitored.
The wild card is that the L.A. City Attorney is also involved in the case because they're handling the jewelry heist case where Lindsay is still on probation. Up to now, we're told the L.A. City Attorney wanted jail time for the probation violation, but the prosecutor may back off that position.
The plea bargain meeting between prosecutors and Lindsay's lawyer, Mark Heller is today … so stay tuned.
She can't seem to do anything wrong, can she?!?
