The actor-director dismissed wedding rumours and remained secretive about his alleged relationship with Shu Qi
'It's not true. I'm not married yet,' emphasised Stephen Fung at a promotional event on Monday.
The Hong Kong actor-director became the centre of attention at the event as it was his first public appearance, following rave speculations on his alleged relationship with longtime friend, Taiwanese screen siren Shu Qi recently.
The intimate friendship between the pair immediately raised eyebrows after they have been sighted travelling together on many occasions and caught'flirting' with each other via their microblog updates. The tabloids also reported the rumoured lovebirds had registered their marriage in the United States earlier this month.
Stephen dismissed all wedding claims, but remained tight-lipped when asked if he is dating Shu Qi currently.
The 39-year-old commented, 'I prefer to keep my personal life low-key. I'll not announce to the public even when I get married in future.'
Meanwhile, Stephen was believed to have indirectly admitted his relationship with the actress after he hinted that both of them have been 'meeting up often for work'.
'It's absolutely normal for good friends to do so [meet up],' he added.
He was unfazed about Hong Kong artiste, Stephen Chow's public love confession to Shu Qi, and felt it was just a 'promotional tactic for his new movie'.

Dating rumours between the TVB actor and TVB actresses Natalie Tong and Eliza Sam broke out at the same time
Rumour has it that Hong Kong TVB actor Kenneth Ma is two-timing Hong Kong actresses Natalie Tong and Eliza Sam.
According to the Hong Kong media, the 39-year-old actor has been keeping close contact with Natalie after they both acted in the TVB drama A Fistful of Stances in 2009. Natalie has been in a relationship with TVB host Amigo Choi for seven years, but the latter had reportedly cheated behind Natalie's back a few times.
It was said that Kenneth would always comfort her during those difficult times and the pair eventually fell in love.
However, an insider revealed that Natalie is now caught between Kenneth and Amigo as she cannot give up her relationship with her longtime boyfriend.
When asked about the dating rumours between Natalie and him, Kenneth did not deny, but told reporters that he 'did not know how to answer them'. Kenneth also added that he is not clear of Natalie's relationship with 'that person' now, referring to her boyfriend Amigo.
After Kenneth's comments were reported, sources revealed that Amigo called someone to vent his anger and accused Kenneth of 'snatching someone else's girlfriend' over the phone.
At the same time, dating rumours between Kenneth and TVB actress Eliza Sam was also made public, giving rise to speculations that the actor is currently two-timing both girls.
The pair was caught dating by the paparazzi recently, but Kenneth denied that they were seeing each other and claimed that they went for a barbeque with a group of friends that day.
Source: Xinmsn Entertainment - Ah Gil complains that her boyfriend is inconsiderate
This year was the first Valentine's Day for Gillian Chung and her Korean boyfriend Mr. K. However, Ah Gil openly said that in the short time she has been dating Mr. K, their relationship is not romantic like in Korean dramas. She even complained that he is not at all romantic or considerate enough.
"I still remember the night of my birthday, I rushed to leave the company's celebration dinner and planned to go home to celebrate with him. I did not expect that not only was there no surprise, but he had actually gone to sleep," Gillian said. "Afterwards when he woke up and saw me come back, he told me that he bought a cake. He then casually took out a cake from the fridge. He did not even put any candles, he did not even sing happy birthday. It was totally insincere. So I have absolutely no expectations for him this Valentine's Day!"
Gillian revealed that her relationship was not like the typical romantic love story in Korean dramas and complained that Mr K was not at all romantic. "I still remembered that on the night of my birthday, I rushed home from my company celebratory dinner and planned to celebrate with him. However, there was no surprise and he even slept so soundly!"
Gillian added, "When he saw that I returned home, he said that he had bought a cake. He then took out the cake from the fridge and did not even put on the candles. There was no birthday song and it was totally insincere. For this Valentine's Day, I have no more expectations from him!"
When asked if she will take the opportunity to introduce Mr. K to her parents, Gillian said, "He met my family a long time ago, you don't even know how much my mom likes him. All my friends love him."
Ah Gil reveals that her boyfriend will work behind the scenes with EEG
When asked how she boldly expressed her love, Ah Gil replied: "I do not remember." But she revealed that next month, she and her Korean boyfriend Mr. K will attend a company event together. When asked if it is the EEG Company Spring Dinner? She laughed but remained silent. When the time comes, will she officially introduce her boyfriend to everyone? Ah Gil said, "That is not the way. He is attending under the status of a work collaboration, not under the status of my boyfriend." (Were you involved in bringing him in?) "No, he recommended it himself to the company, he went to talk to the company himself." Her boyfriend is employed in investment. It is know that Mr. K's company will work with EEG behind the scenes together on film and music.

Translated by: starlightcolors @ AsianFanatics Forum - Louise Lee believes family is work Award-winning Hong Kong actress Louise Lee revealed that family is not strictly dependent on blood ties, but is shaped through hard work such as interactions and communications between people.
According to Jayne Stars, Louise is currently starring in "Reality Check", where she plays the biological mother of Owen Cheung and the adopted mother of Ruco Chan. However, her relationship with her adopted son is better than her relationship with her biological son, which prompted reporters to ask her the question.
An example of the point that Louise made is her close relationship with her sister. Even though the two live far apart, they made efforts to go on vacations together. Louise is also happy that her daughter Leslie Yip is independent, never relying on her mother's celebrity connections and only needing her when she [Leslie] was divorced.
Louise elaborated, "For many years, I never had to worry about her. The only time she needed me by her side was when she was divorced. Now that she has remarried and the couple is happily working together at A1 Chinese Radio, I don't have to worry. She never asked me for a single cent."
Louise is also a mother to two non-human children, which are her adopted dogs, Milk Tea and Man Man. The two came to be when she was recuperating from cervical cancer a decade ago, to keep her company at home when her family was not there.
Source: Yahoo Entertainment - Ben Wong to lead "Food For The Slaves" Actor Ben Wong has Raymond Lam to thank for his long-awaited leading role in a TVB drama, as the former was casted after the latter dropped out of the historical drama "Food For The Slaves".
According to Jayne Stars, 45-year-old Ben has not been in a leading role 16 years, since his leading role in 1997′s "Triumph Over Evil". Afterwards, he left TVB for better pay, only to return in 2004, and has appeared in various minor roles since.
In "Food For The Slaves", Ben plays the Yongzheng Emperor, the hardworking fifth emperor of the Manchu-led Qing Dynasty. He had already shaved his head when he appeared at a costume fitting recently.
Earlier, the "Food For The Slaves" cast was reported to be Raymond Lam, Ron Ng and Fala Chen, but it has now been replaced with Ben Wong, Wong Cho Lam and Joey Meng. Joey portrays the 25-year-old Lu Siniang in the drama.
When asked whether he will be writing the script for "Food For The Slaves", Wong Cho Lam merely joked, "Haven't I been scolded enough already [referring to the "Inbound Troubles" controversy]? This time, I will only act.
Source: Yahoo Entertainment - Stephen Fung doesn't mind Chow's advances Since 1997, they have been rumoured to be dating, although they have been dismissing rumours of a secret wedding almost the entire time, so it was no surprise to what the "Tai Chi Zero" director had to say regarding new rumours of he and Shu Qi vacationing together and marrying in secret.
As reported on TVB News World, speaking to the media at a "HBO GO" press conference recently, Stephen Fung denied rumours of his supposed marriage to Shu Qi as usual, stating, "There is no such thing! We were rumoured to go on a holiday together? We didn't either. I rarely share my love life, since I don't want to talk about it."
When asked if he would announce his relationship to the world any time soon, the actor stated, "Even when I wanted to get married in the future, I might not publicise it. Let alone right now. I am happy with my life right now."
However, the actor was still full of praise for the actress when asked about Shu Qi's latest movie, "Journey To The West".
When asked if he is threatened by the movie's director Stephen Chow's public affection for the actress, he replied, "Many people would adore her. Do I feel threatened by Stephen? Yes, but it's his film promotional technique [of courting Shu Qi] so people would write about it. I am involved in the film industry, so I understand it very well."
In related news, Stephen Fung revealed that he is currently in discussions to helm a project with Hollywood.
Source: Yahoo Entertainment - Sammi and Andy deny wedding rumour Sammi Cheng and Andy Hui recently dismissed rumours of a secret Japan wedding in the fashion of Ekin Cheng and Yoyo Mung.
Groove Asia reported that the celebrity couple, who returned to Hong Kong last weekend, albeit separately with a smile on their faces, revealed that the belated-Valentine's trip to Okinawa was a blissful one, but denied that they were anywhere near tp getting married there.
The singer-actress, who was dressed in a black outfit and shades, emphasised, "We had a normal, pleasant vacation. [Andy] just completed his concert and needed a break."
When asked if they would follow the footsteps of celebrity couple, Ekin Cheng and Yoyo Mung who wedded in Japan in January, Sammi avoided the question and explained that she "was unable to reply due to flu" and only said, "I enjoyed the trip."
Meanwhile, the tight-lipped Andy only smiled to the camera and refused to comment.
Earlier, it was reported that the couple were in Okinawa to check out wedding venues for their special day in October. However, another rumour surfaced that the couple had indeed secretly been married in the country.
Source: Yahoo Entertainment - "Wine Beauty" ends filming in March Fans of baby-faced actress Myolie Wu will be able to see her on screen soon, as she recently revealed that filming for her mainland Chinese drama "Wine Beauty" is nearly over.
According to Popular Asians, at a recent photoshoot session featuring the cast of the drama, the actress revealed that they will conclude filming in March 2013, although no broadcasting date has been announced.

Source: Yahoo Entertainment - Leon Lai has not swindled viewers
Leon Lai Ming yesterday attended the 9th Hong Kong Entertainment Expo press conference. Speaking of online encouragement for him to reunite with Shu Qi, Lai Ming said that he would leave everyone with their own ideal picture. Whether he would remain single it would depend on fate. Currently work came first. As for VULGARIA being called cultural garbage that led to China and Hong Kong conflict, Lai Ming gave another golden quote, "You get 50,000 after slamming someone? Why wasn't I told sooner, I would've donated the 50,000 to the Community Chest. Everyone is posting online, when the timing is right not getting slammed would be better a little. You can't avoid that. Ultimately I firmly believe in my own beliefs, I haven't swindle viewers, cross colleagues and go against my conscience so I am OK." Director Ang Lee at the Oscars thanked the Taiwan government for assisting the film industry. Did he feel the Hong Kong government has provided enough assistance to the film industry? Lai Ming said that he would not ask the government, good movies naturally would have investors. The resources should be placed with the class that is powerless to protest.
