Poppy (Thailand)
We may have a low turnout of contestants this year, but we have some highly qualified girls in the house and Thailand representative is definitely on the list. If you browse through her Facebook fan page and Instragram, you can easily find save-worthy photos of Poppy. I do not know how well she speaks Mandarin, but she can make it into top 3 with no problem if she performs well tonight.
By the way, isn't "Poppy" the cutest name for her?

Carat Cheung (HK)
Carat should have no problem advancing to the next level, as her performance has been stable all along. At times, I think that her performance is too stable that it would be difficult for her to show us something surprising/entertaining. Sometimes, she carries the generous MHK image too well that makes her too blunt in her words (talks too formal).

Denise Tan (KL)
This 20-year-old fashion student is looking great in her photos and videos. Her cheerfulness makes her personality seem very approachable, and I do admire her strong aspire for fashion. However, she lacks thoughtfulness in her Q&A responses when compared to her seniors Belle Theng and Lenna Lim, which I believe is a strong factor to winning the crown. During the Miss Astro semi-final, I remembered that Denise answered the exact opposite of what the question asked her. While she as improved, I am still concerned that her speaking skills would keep her away from making a third consecutive win for KL.

Jacky Choi (Melbourne)
I did not pay much attention to Jacky prior to the start of the MCIP, but she has become one of my favorites for the crown. Now, she may lack enthusiasm when she speaks and looks too thin in fact, but she would make a nice winner overall. Jacky carries the "hei chut" and image well. Anyone disagrees?
Perhaps, her education background has scored her a few extra impression points too.

Stella Kae (Singapore)
Stella might not be a favorite for the crown, as she lacks the 36-24-36 "golden-measured" body figure nor does she speak fluent Cantonese, but I can see her surprise us with a witty performance the same way her senior Cheryl Wee did last year.
Being a former Singapore representative in the prestigious Miss International Pageant should give her some advantage on stage experience wise.

Jessica Song (Toronto)
I missed the live broadcast of the MCTP, so I cannot say much about Jessica's performance. She has one of the nicer bodies among the group and I can see her with a high score on her talent performance, assuming that she will be performing the same peacock dance in her last pageant that brought her the Miss Talent Award.

Gloria Tang (Vancouver)
I was able to catch the MCVP online broadcast and I was absolutely satisfied with Gloria's win. Having participated in a DJ training course has definitely helped her being the eloquent speaker she is today, which should score her some mighty points during the Q&A session. She talks and behaves very much like a potential winner!

Side Note:
As rumored, TVB will be sending Hong Kong representatives to Miss World from Miss Chinese International since Kelly Cheung performed so well last year. However, it was a lucky scenario since Kelly was from HK and thus holds a HKID card/passport, which is a requirement for Miss World representative I believe. Hence, does that mean that holding a HKID card/passport will be a hidden rule to become a winner?
Oscar Leung has to host 50 table wedding banquet

Yesterday Oscar Leung attended an event at the mall, and learned today is the Lantern festival. He said: "I went grocery shopping with my girlfriend yesterday. She suddenly bought 'tong yuen', but I just found out tomorrow (today) is the Lantern festival. We already went on vacation to celebrate Valentine's Day."
