Plot
Eight people slowly form four couples with stories that are gradually interwoven. Xiaoye is a single mother working in real estate who argues with a rich client Mark in Beijing. Zoe is a Taiwanese socialite who argues with her wealthy boyfriend Ping and is rescued by Kuan.  Kuan's younger sister has discovered she is pregnant to wannabe film director Kai who is her best friend Ni's boyfriend.

Alternative Miss Brighton

The Alternative Miss Brighton show has been held a total of 7 times in various different venues such as the big top tent of the Chinese State Circus, Brighton's Dome Theatre and Brighton's Theatre Royal.
