- Super Junior's Leeteuk Cast in New Musical "The Promise"
Just when you thought Leeteuk was gone for two years, he makes headlines again with his new musical casting. According to multiple reports, Super Junior's leader has been confirmed to join the cast of the new musical, "The Promise," which will be produced by the Ministry of National Defense.
Alongside Leeteuk, actors Kim Moo Yeol and Ji Hyun Woo, who are also currently enlisted in Korean army, will appear in the musical. 8eight's Lee Hyun and Supernova's Yoon Hak is also reported to be part of the main cast.
"Star soldiers are working hard for this musical. Ji Hyun Woo and Kim Moo Yeol are actors, so their acting is very good. But the singers are also doing a good job with their acting, so you should look forward to this show," an official was quoted as saying.
"The Promise" is being produced by the Ministry of National Defense to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Korean War. It is scheduled to open in January 2013 at the National Theater of Korea. The Defense Ministry will announce further details in the coming weeks.
- MAMA in Hong Kong Festivities Begin With Press Conference
Later this evening in Asia, the much anticipated MNET Asian Music Awards will go live in Hong Kong. The event will be live streamed all over the world via both MNET's Mcube and also MNET's YouTube page.

The press conference is happening alphabetically and as of press time, Adam Lambert and Block B have both gone on stage to answer media questions. KpopStarz team got to ask Adam Lambert about the possibility of collaborating with Asian artists or labels, and the world star said in a direct reply, "Yes, if it's the right song, why not?"

- Big Bang Featured On Hit American Television Show, Glee!
The hit song "Fantastic Baby" by popular boy band Big Bang was featured on tonight's episode of Glee.
The song "Fantastic Baby" played in the background of a scene while the members danced to the song. This is during the point where the members of Glee were practicing for their Regional's performance. Mike Chang, portrayed by Harry Shum Jr, claimed that Korean groups are the "tearing up the scene".
Harry Shum Jr. attended Big Bang's concert in California during their Alive Tour, so it is no surprise that Big Bang's music has finally made an appearance on the show.

Psy who gained much popularity with his song "Gangnam Style" will close out the night at TNT's "Christmas in Washington" after performing the same night with stars such as Diana Ross and Broadway actress Megan Hilty, Demi Lovato as well as others.

Conon O'Brien will host this event for the second year, with both the President and the First Lady in attendance. The filming for TNT's annual "Christmas in Washington" will take place on the December 8th.
- Kwanghee To Jung Woo Sung: "You Could Use Some Botox"
On the most recent episode of MBC "Knee Drop Guru," Kwanghee was tricked into talking about one of Korea's best looking actors, Jung Woo Sung, when he was asked to "judge Jung Woo Sung's looks."
Kwanghee hesitated for a while before he finally mustered up the courage to "judge" Jung Woo Sung's appearance. Kanghee said, "I think you need botox. It seems like you've gone through some aging, your skin could be lifted a bit." When Kwanghee finally gave his honest opinion, Kang Ho Dong was taken aback, trying to move onto the next topic as quickly as possible. However, Jung Woo Sung seemed like he didn't care much, humorously responding, "You hurt my pride."
However, unlike Jung Woo Sung's cool response, Kwanghee seemed rather bothered by his comments. He muttered to himself, "I guess we are not going to cross paths from now on…" which made everyone else at the sent of "Knee Drop Guru" burst out into laughter.
Meanwhile, the New "Knee Drop Guru" garnered much attention previously as Kang Ho Dong was returning to his initial shows prior to temporary retirement, and this is Jung Woo Sung's first appearance on a variety TV show in many years. "Knee Drop Guru" did not disappoint any old fans and/or new viewers. Kang Ho Dong's skillful hosting and Jung Woo Sung's honest, earnest charms successfully kicked off the new season of "Knee Drop Guru."

Seo In Guk opened up about his musical plans.
On Wednesday, MBC drama "Rascal Sons" official site revealed an interview with Seo In Guk.
When asked about his post-drama plans, he said, "It's a drama that I'm doing with a lot of really great actors. It's really difficult to miss things because of a new record. I don't think it makes sense to be pursuing music while doing this as well. I'm talking about it with my management but I think I'm going to take it slow in terms of a new record."

- S.E.S Members Express Gratitude To Fans For Remembering 15th Anniversary Since Debut
Members of girl group S.E.S expressed their gratitude for fans who remembered their 15th anniversary since their debut.
On November 28 Bada tweeted, "To our fans who live abroad, we hope you had a safe journey home. Even if it was a stop along the way, we appreciate you traveling so far to send us gifts in celebration of a special moment for us. We send our gratitude for the beautiful purple bouquets you left for us. Warm wishes to all of you."
Bada also included the photos of members taking pictures together for their reunion to celebrate their 15th anniversary. She wrote, "I remember when Eugene would press bowls of food into our hands in our dressing rooms. I have the loveliest sisters. We still joke around with each other like old times, so I guess that makes us fairies. We have 15 more years to enjoy our time together before we officially retire as a group."
Eugene also tweeted, "Thank you to all of our fans who congratulated us on our 15th anniversary. It is only because of your love that S.E.S. is where it is and because of your love that it continues to live on. Again, I wish to sincerely thank each and every one of you. I love you all."

On November 29, Lee Seung Gi, vocal group Noel, and Roy Kim's names are listed at the top of several music streaming charts, showing the apparent change in K-Pop trends from electronic dance music to analogue, sentimental vocal music.
Lee Seung Gi released his 5.5th mini album "Forest" on November 22. The album's title song "Return" has been remaining at the top of several music charts since the release. Under the concept of "Healing Music," Lee Seung Gi collaborated with Epitone Project in this album. "Return"s popularity reflects that many music fans are looking for easy-listening music now.
Similarly, Neol made a come back on November 6 with their 4th regular album after 5 years of hiatus. Their title song "Words I Couldn't Say" has been ranked highly on music charts for several weeks now. "Words I Couldn't Say" starts out with the sound of wind and calming piano melody, narrating a longing sentiment for an old lover. The song appeals to the cold, lonesome season as well.
Moreover, Mnet "Super Star K4" winner Roy Kim released "October Rain" on November 19. The original song "October Rain" was sung by singer Yoon Gun. Roy Kim performed his rendition of the song on "Super Star K4″ and have been garnering much attention with his clean, calming voice along with sentimental guitar melody.
Many experts are reading the shift in trend of K-Pop as a reflection of change in listeners' preference. Many music fans are now tired of machine generated, idol-oriented music with provocative lyrics and turning to heartwarming, lyrical music.
- BTS Clips of "A Werewolf Boy" Revealed
"A Werewolf Boy" has been seen by over six million viewers in just 26 days since its release.
The movie's behind the scenes clips have been revealed, in which the actors and staffs' true personality and characters are displayed.
The video started showing Jang Young Nam talking behind Song Joong Ki, "Song Joong Ki is so talkative." On another revealed clip, Song Joong Ki was down on the floor making people laugh by cleaning his ear with a pencil. Soong Joong Ki also shared that Park Bo Young is attractive because she has a small face. The director added, "On the set, Park Bo Young gets all the attention. She is the only leading female actress."
The last clip showed the preparation for Park Bo Young's birthday party including a red carpet and three-level cake.
Meanwhile, Yoo Yeon Suk, the only villain in the movie, shared his frank concern, "I am worried that people would get the wrong idea of me. I am not actually evil! I act evil in the movie because my character on the script is evil!"

- Teen Top Proves Growing Popularity in Vietnam
On November 28, Teen Top visited Vietnam for the special episode of MBC "Music Core" celebrating the 20th anniversary of Korea-Vietnam diplomatic relations. Teen Top was welcomed by a large group of excited fans, proving their growing popularity in Vietnam.
Vietnamese fans followed around Teen Top throughout their schedule wearing purple t-shirts and carrying around purple slogan towels, showing their undying love and support for the idol group. These fans also prepared gifts for their favorite K-pop artist. They were able to hand these gifts to Teen Top in person after the group's official press conference, when they had a chance to have a short, but meaningful, interaction with each other.
Korean netizens and fans commented on Teen Top's popularity in Vietnam, "Teen Top ruling Asia! I'm so proud of you guys," "I didn't realize you guys were so popular in Vietnam," "Now let's take over the world, Teen Top. - First Generation Female Idols Have A Reunion
On November 29, artist Soy tweeted a photo of the first generation K-Pop girl group members with the caption, "Vegetable Party Meeting. Everyone's Here! "
The following artists are pictured in the photo taken: Soy, Eugene and Shoo from S.E.S, singer Park Ji Yoon and Baby V.O.X member Kan Mi Youn. All of the ladies were a part of popular female idol groups who debuted in the 90′s and called their special clique "The Vegetable Party." Netizens recognized each member without fail, admiring how little they had changed from their adorable younger selves.

- "High Cut" Releases Teaser for Kang Dong Won's Official Comeback
Actor Kang Dong Won will be making his official come back via style magazine "High Cut." "High Cut" announced on November 29, "Kang Dong Won will be make his come back on the cover of 'High Cut's December issue."
Along with the announcement, "High Cut" released a 20-second long teaser video from pictorial shooting with Kang Dong Won. The revealed video shows Kang Dong Won skating around in a pair of roller blades on the photo shoot set. His almost adolescent excitement is apparent across his face as he is smiling so brightly.
Kang Dong Won was first enlisted to serve in the military in October 2010. After the initial boot camp training, he was stationed at Seoul Health and Environment Research Institute as a public service worker for two years. He was dismissed from his position on November 12. A video clip of Kang Dong Won was revealed on YouTube and garnered attention briefly until found out that the video was filmed even before he joined the military.
A representative from "High Cut" commented, "Kang Dong Won's pictorial was shot with the concept of roller-skating. He flaunted very impressive roller-skating skills throughout hours of photo shoot."
Along with the first series of pictorials since Kang Dong Won's return to the business, "High Cut" will also reveal an in-depth interview with Kang Dong Won regarding his come back. The December issue of "High Cut" featuring Kang Dong Won will be available on December 6.

Following the release of their official dance practice of "2MYX" yesterday, A-JAX has revealed a more humorous "dumbbell practice version" today as a gift to fans.
