Goo Hara Is Suffering From Acute Appendicitis and Will Undergo Surgery
It's been reported by "Joy News 24," a Korean media outlet, that Kara's Goo Hara is currently at a hospital in Seoul and will undergo surgery to remove her appendix after it was verified that she's suffering from acute appendicitis. Some of the symptoms of appendicitis include dull or sharp pain, nausea and/or vomiting, high fever and constipation or liquid bowel movements.
According to her agency's official, she complained of a stomach ache during the early hours on January 31 and was rushed to the hospital.
An official from her company stated, "It's correct that she's receiving appendectomy. We hope that the surgery will go smoothly. After the surgery, she will rest so that she can fully recover."
Meanwhile, Kara has a schedule in Japan on February 1, but it's uncertain whether Goo Hara will attend. She's currently looking at scripts and is planning to challenge herself through acting during Kara's break from album promotions in the near future.

Celebrities to Compete in "MasterChef: Celebrity Edition"
Are you familiar with "MasterChef"? If not, it's a cooking reality show where contestants, consisting of amateurs, get eliminated after creating dishes for different challenges. Originated in the United Kingdom, it has now become a hot franchise and many countries including South Korea also have their own version.
South Korea is currently seeing a surge of cooking programs broadcasted on cable channels. O'live was originally a fashion-lifestyle channel, but has now developed its identity as a food cable channel similar to America's Food Network.
Now, the station decided to add a twist to the cooking game show by having celebrity contestants. It's been revealed that Tony Ahn, Son Ho Young, miss A's Fei, Super Junior-M's Henry, Dal Shabet's Ji Yul and more will participate in the tasty competition. The battle for the first place will be broadcasted over 8 weeks and the winner will walk away with 100,000,000 won (~$100,000).
Quite a number of people are interested in the celebrity edition as a few are already known for their experience with cooking. Tony Ahn is currently the CEO of successful comfort food restaurant franchise while Son Ho Young participated as a MC for O'live's corner "Food Essay" and was recognized for his cooking skills.

The lineup for the second season of tvN's 'The Romantic & Idol' has been revealed!

G.NA, Jewelry's Yewon, SPICA's Jiwon, and TWO X' Eunyoung as well as F.T. Island's Jonghun, BtoB's Minhyuk, VIXX' N, and ZE:A's Kevin are the idols who'll be featured in the new season of the reality series.

A representative from the show commented, "Just like the first 'The Romantic & Idol', there was a lot of tension and strong emotions on set. All the [idols] appeared as your average 20-somethings and showed their sincere feelings."
However, it has yet to be decided when the second season will air.
tvN's 'The Romantic & Idol' has decided to ban manager access.
Representatives of the upcoming reality show stated, "Because it's a 'real date story' program and we need to record idols on dates, we've made it so their managers and coordinators cannot interfere. [We're letting] the idols express their true feelings [without being concerned] because it's not like variety programs; it's a reality program."
