She said: ''[Peter and I] are not shy about our private parts. We also weren't walking around with our genitals out; our bottom half genitals. That might have been a little strange for me.

''I don't really have any interest in people seeing my vagina. It's just a personal thing. I don't mind seeing other people's vaginas.''

The blonde beauty even found herself ''comfortable'' after a while and didn't question why her character did certain things.

She added to Indiewire: ''I don't know why I'm comfortable. Nudity; whatever! Sex; we all do it. There's a time and a place to be naked. There's no part in this movie that makes me think, 'Oh, wow, she's naked.' She's a porn star!''

Amanda previously admitted when filming the raunchy scenes, which involved her pretending to give oral sex to Peter, she used a popsicle to make the sexual acts look more convincing.

She said: ''We were doing a sex scene where I was supposed to be going down on Peter Sarsgaard. We used a popsicle, and I had my arms covering the popsicle.

''It was footage that he was going to show the 'Deep Throat' guy, to get her into the movie, to get her cast. I was laughing hysterically throughout. I couldn't stop laughing.''

''I took a deep breath, grabbed his hands, looked him in the eyes and told him 'I'M PREGNANT!' He looked at me and asked if I was serious. I said yes. We hugged and then he said, ''I think I have to sit down!''

''We thought we were wild but we were really just dull. The director was p***ed off and it taught me a lesson. That was the last time I ever drank while working. Because it doesn't work. I've worked with actors who've crossed that line and it's just not worth it. You think you're giving 100 per cent, but all the while your level is dropping.''

The star has had a distinguished career, picking up two Oscars - Best Supporting Actor for 'Glory' in 1989 and Best Actor for 'Training Day' in 2001 - and says he was drawn to acting ever since he was a child.

He added to The Guardian newspaper: ''Acting was my calling. The year I started acting there was a woman in my mother's beauty shop, a kind of seer if you like, who kept looking at me in the mirror.

''Finally she got a piece of paper and wrote 'prophecy' at the top. She said: 'You are going to travel the world and preach to millions of people.' Now, bear in mind that I'd just been kicked out of school. I said: 'You see anything there about me being let back into school?'. That was March 75 and September 75 I started acting. I still got that piece of paper too.''

I was going through one of the hardest moments in my life with the separation and with the kids and everything, and it was very difficult.

''In front of kids and at work, you have to be so professional. You have to be so up for your children in that moment - I was lucky to be able to be in front of the camera and act exactly how I felt! So it was a blessing.''

''I didn't want to look like I was dumb, but between takes I pulled the guy aside and said, 'Have you done this before? You're not going to shoot me, are you?' I was terrified that my first big part would be my last.''

The 'Jack Reacher' star has grown to love high-adrenaline stunts, and he admitted earlier this month he will ''never tire'' of performing his own stunt, and enjoys trying to keep besting the dare-devil scenes he has shot before.

He said: ''When I'm doing stunt movies you always have some sort of injury. Even with the high-speed car crashes that we had - I never tire of it actually.

''It's really fun and I keep thinking about what it's going to look like and that it's going to entertain an audience. So it's fun doing it and trying to figure out, can we do it? How far can we push it?

''When I start working on a piece of material I get very excited about the potential of doing something that hadn't been seen before, that I haven't done before.''

Thankfully, the dogs are now on the mend.

Despite his attempts, Selena has told her pals that Justin was just way too needy for her tastes. An insider said, "Justin is super needy and can be a big baby around Selena. It's hard for him to make real friends because he likes the temporary attention of strangers, but didn't see how it hurt Selena. Selena didn't feel Justin was respectful of their relationship. She was constantly catching him in positions with other girls that would make her uncomfortable. She would get super jealous."

When he found out about the baby, he was bragging to all of his friends that he wasn't going to allow her to be divorced when she had the baby. He intends to tell his attorney when they set a trial date next month that he can't do it until late summer. It's all planned and calculated."
