F4 arrives in Beijing for Spring Festival Gala
All four members of Taiwanese boyband F4 are currently in Beijing for Jiangsu TV's Spring Festival Gala, following Vanness Wu and Jerry Yan's arrival yesterday. Vic Chou took an earlier flight while Ken Chu flew into the Chinese city one day before his group mates.
Vanness subsequently shared a photo of the duo on the plane via his microblog. He wrote: "Long time no see, brother!"
His manager mentioned that Vanness and Jerry do contact each other occasionally, but it has been a while since they gathered as both of them are busy with their own activities.
Fans gathered at the airport prior to their arrival and were later greeted by warm smiles from their idols. Though Jerry was wearing shades due to an eye injury incurred during drama filming, he was in a good mood and remained friendly despite a sarcastic remark "Don't sing off-key" made by a member of the crowd.
Sources revealed that there will be a full-dress rehearsal for the Chinese New Year special program tonight and official recording will commence at 10pm tomorrow.
More than hundred fans from Hong Kong and Taiwan have reportedly flown to Beijing specially for the highly anticipated reunion stage where the group is set to perform their classic hits 'Meteor Rain' and 'First Time'.
