Taiwanese Actress Terri Kwan and Boyfriend Get Engaged

Terri Kwan and her Hong Kong boyfriend Christian Zhu spent a 10-day honeymoon and also shot their wedding photos in Maldives after getting engaged there.

The Taiwanese actress shared her engagement news in a microblog update yesterday. Christian had proposed to Terri in May last year after dating for more than a year, and under family pressure, she finally agreed recently after learning that her sister would tie the knot in September this year.
The 36-year-old who comes from a rich family gave up luxurious wedding plans in exchange fora low-key and convenient affair, as she chose to settle her engagement, wedding photoshoot and honeymoon all at once in Maldives.
It was also said that Terri's engagement ring cost only about NT$ 10000, as she warned Christian not to buy her an expensive ring or she would 'kill him'.
After leaving Maldives, the couple reportedly went to Bangkok to thank the four-faced-Buddha for "granting her a good marriage", a wish that she made 10 years ago.
According to reports, there will be two wedding celebrations for the newly-engaged couple - a traditional Chinese wedding dinner followed by a wedding party that will only be attended by friends. Both celebrations will be held early this year.
According to Terri, they will settle down in Taipei, and she has no plansto retire from showbiz. They added that baby-making plans will have to wait as Terri has to attend her sister's wedding in September this year.
In related news, Jerry Huang congratulated his ex-girlfriend Terri through his microblog, saying "Wishing you and your sister happiness and ever-lasting love!"
Responding to friends' concerns about his feelings, Jerry insisted that 'he was fine'.
