Hong Kong actor and singer Jorden Chen admits that his wife Cherrie Yang is three months pregnant
Hong Kong singer-actor Jorden Chen and his wife Cherrie Ying are finally expecting their first child after their fairytale-like wedding in 2010.
Jordan, 46, was recording a show with actress Vivian Hsu in Shanghai yesterday, and the two happily reminisced on old times as they had known each other since young.
When Jordon jokingly remarked that he is "still young", Vivian caught him off guard when she suddenly asked him, "But aren't you a dad already?"
The father-to-be had no choice but to admit that his wife is indeed three months pregnant. He said, "I am very shocked and happy, and although I don't know how the baby looks like yet, I would definitely love him/her."
His wife Cherrie confirmed the news on her microblog shortly after, commenting that "it is finally my turn to be pregnant".
The couple had originally intended to announce the good news on their third wedding anniversary, which coincides with Valentine's Day, but their plans were thwarted by Jordon's friends.
Cherrie also said that she has no preference for the child's gender, but would like to have at least two children. The 30-year-old Hong Kong actress has stopped working, and plans to deliver her child in Hong Kong.
