    The Louis Koo Tin Lok, Lau Ching Wan starred Universe new film INFERNO (TOH CHOOK SUN TIN) yesterday had an accident while shooting in Thailand. Famous action director Dion Lam Dik On while testing a mark for Ching Wan accidentally pierced his right leg. Although the on set medical team bandaged him, for safety director Danny Pang Fat asked the team to send Lam Dik On to the hospital. Due to the severity of the injury he needed not only nine stitches but also had to remain in the hospital for observation. Lam Dik On did not want to hinder the production progress and insisted on returning to work.

    As soon as Koo Tin Lok and Lau Ching Wan saw Lam Dik On on the set they greeted them. Lam Dik On said that this time was "minor" and even talked about all the injuries throughout his career as a stunt man.

    The film THE LAST TYCOON (DAI SEUNG HOI) will soon be released with producer Andrew Lau Wai Keung, planner Manfred Wong (Man Jun) and director Wong Jing, stars Chow Yun Fat, Huang Xiaoming, Sammo Hung Kam Bo, Francis Ng Chun Yu, Yolanda Yuan Quan and others. Bona film group chair Yu Dong brought together Chow Yun Fat, Hung Kam Bo and Ng Chun Yu who have never worked together in 30 years. He said Chow Yun Fat and director Wong Jing have worked together many times. 18 years later they are together again with Best Actors Hung Kam Bo and Ng Chun Yu, people are looking forward to it.

    Hung Kam Bos said that he prepared a "heroic duo" script for Fat Gor, but due to scheduling they missed the chance. This time they finally had a chance to work together. Hung Kam Bo not only did not pale in comparison to Fat Gor's handsomeness and dominance but also revealed his character had better luck with the ladies than Chow Yun Fat. He said, "In this film I look very cool, I have more women around me than him, I am even more handsome than him. Because of that later I suffered the envy of others and almost cost me my life!"

    The film also tested Hung Kam Bo's patience, in one scene he, Fat Gor and Ng Chun Yu were in a bathhouse. Hung Kam Bo said, "Luckily everyone is a good ac! tor and we quickly got it done. However I definitely would peel from the soaking." Earlier he had very few opportunities to shoot in a bathhouse. Normally the bath would feel very comfortable. Yet this time he had to deliver lines as he bathed, the feeling was very different.

    Director Patrick Kong (Yip Lim Sum) yesterday appeared on Commercial Radio to discuss his new film NATURAL BORN LOVERS (TIN SUN OI CHING KONG). Speaking of teaming Julian Cheung Chi Lam with Annie Liu (Lau Sum Yau), he wanted to give himself a new challenge. They had a kiss scene in the film but he joked that fortunately Chilam's wife Anita Yuen Wing Yi (Len Len) did not visit the set often. Every time Len Len visited she would bring a lot of good food for the team. Although NATURAL was based on a true story, Yip Lim Sum had an understanding already with his previous team of Alex Fong Lik Sun and Stephy Tang Lai Yun. For the short run they would not work together. Yip Lim Sum joked that he single handedly created the real life couple from the on screen couple.

    Christy Chung Lai Tai worked on Italian label Marina Rinaldi photo shoot. The mother of three daughters is still full of charm and self confidence. Earlier she worked on the film GOOD FOR NOTHING HEROES and played an ugly woman. She said that she was very happy to be able to play a character who was not pretty. During make up she needed to be buck teeth and her hair was all over the place. Yet this character was very close to life as she was a bun selling single mother. She believed that everyone would like this type of person who toils for her child. This year she also made the new film HUA YING XIONG LING but she normally did not enjoy ghost films. During the shoot she felt especially scared. Not only did someone want to kill her, she was also in a strange land and could not communicate. Perhaps because she was afraid she was able to very easily get into this character.

    Wilson Chin Kwok Wai yesterday appeared on Nancy Sit Ka Yin's radio program. Sister Ka Ying praised his HONG KONG STYLE as hilarious and suggested for him to make a Lunar New Year next year. Chin Kwok Wai said, "(Eric) Tsang Chi Wai has not notified me yet. Every year we don't start until it is the final moment.     The William Chan Wai Ting, Michelle Wai (Si Nga), Kathy Yuen (Tong Yi) starred film TRIAD (JAT JIK) two nights ago promoted in Mongkok. Si Nga and Tong Yi upon arrival immediately complained about Chan Wai Ting.     Earlier Chan Wai Ting said that he worried about promoting the film on Portland Street due to its mix of people. Thus the film company moved the promotion to the Pe! destrian Scheme. He yesterday said, "It's not like this. The film will promote in different places including Portland Street. Earlier the film also shot on Portland Street, I am very familiar with the environment." Chan Wai Ting pointed out that he shot a gang scene on Portland Street and the crew urged them not to bump into the clients of the street eateries.

    The film has not been released yet and the film company already had good news for Chan Wai Ting, the film's advanced screening was sold out and added several more shows. He said, "Perhaps Hong Kong in recent years have fewer mob films, so it is more attractive." Wong Jing is working on YOUNG AND DANGEROUS: RELOADED (GOO WAT JAI).     The film TAICHI HERO (TAI GIK 2 YING HUNG GWUT HEI) is in release. In the film Tony Leung Ka Fai played a well skilled but strange behaving clan leader. Yesterday he along with his "daughter' AngelaBaby appeared in Xian.

    Baby appeared in black with eye catching blue streaked hair. She said that her marriage in the film with Yuan Xiaochao was completely under her father's order to achieve "yin yang harmony"; she also joked that actually she was the sassy "hubby". On their wedding night she asked Yuan Xiaochao to sleep on the floor. They were only a couple in name but actually were master and disciple. She was merciless with him and even more vicious than a man. In the film two different types of men had relationships with her. Baby said that each had his advantages. Fang Zijing (Eddie Peng Yu-yen) is tall, strong and well learned, very attractive to girls; Yang Luzen (Yuan Xiaochao) is very simple and honest and would spend the rest of his life with you. When asked how she would choose in real life, she said, "If in life I haven't run into someone I love, I wouldn't choose. I would rather be without than be promiscuous."

    Clan leader Leung Ka Fai also spoke of the alternative father and son relationship with "older son" Feng Shaofeng. In the film his son preferred mechanics over martial art and even left home. Father and son have been at odds for ten years. Finally Feng Shaofeng operated his unique weapon design "Heavenly Wing" to return and save Chenjiagou. Father and son finally in prison came to an understanding.

    Father of two daughters, Leung Ka Fai admitted that when he read the script this father and son relationship deeply touched him. !     The December 27 release THE GUILLOTINES (HUET DIK JI) yesterday unveiled its theme song. Through director Andrew Lau Wai Keung, Jay Chou (Chow Kit Lun) and the film's star Chris Lee Yuchun worked together for the first time. The film theme song COLDER BLADE EDGE is performed by Lee Yuchun , music by Chow Kit Lun and lyrics by Vincent Fang. Lee Yuchun planned on the night of November 11 to conduct the global debut announcement at her Crazy World Tour Wuhan stop. Chow Kit Lun as a film theme song creator was lucky to become THE GUILLOTINES' first viewer. After the viewing he sighed nonstop as the Guillotine team's brotherly love and the helplessness from being forced by the world touched him. He immediately asked his good friend Vincent Fang and in a few days completed the song for the director already.

    Lau Wai Keung did not tell Lee Yuchun who the song writer was before playing the song for her first. Lee Yuchun said, "A female voice sang the demo.
