Film promises a happy ending

( China Daily)

Actress Tang Wei, who rose to stardom by leading Ang Lee's Lust, Caution, will perform with mainland veteran Wu Xiubo to portray a romantic journey in her new film, Finding Mr Right.

The film's locations include Seattle, a place Tang has special feelings for because her last film, Late Autumn, a South Korean drama for which she won 10 acting awards, was also set there.

Director Xue Xiaolu is known for her latest film Ocean Heaven, a tearjerker about autistic children, starring Jet Li. She says she will make a cheerful film this time, ensuring everybody leaves the theater with a smile, not tears.

Not Quite Hollywood

NOT QUITE HOLLYWOOD is the wild, wonderful, untold story of "OZPLOITATION" films. It irreverently documents an era when Australian cinema got its gear off and showed the world a full-frontal explosion of sex, violence, horror and foot-to-the-floor action. MPAA Rating: R
