Blank Xu (许飞), China’s 2006 Super Girl contestant, continued to top the music chart in China in the week from June 19 to 26.
During the same week, the chart in Taiwan and Hong Kong was dominated by Khalil Fong (方大同), a self-taught musician on the guitar and piano. He released his first album in 2005.

French electro duo Justice re-enter the Hype Machine's most blogged artists on Wednesday, June 27, while Canadian indie outfit Purity Ring have climbed to the top of the chart.
French electro duo Justice are causing a buzz in the blogs once again thanks to the release of the DJ Falcon remix of their single "New Lands." The remix comes shortly after the release of the New Lands EP on June 25, which features both the Falcon remix and the original Justice version. Blog Stoney Roads says the single "takes a direction I really dig, a less in-your-face French approach and a more hey-we're-all-in-this-together deal until around the 3:52 mark where things get nasty."
Purity Ring tops Wednesday's chart. The Canadian indie-electro outfit is making waves after the song "Crawlersout" from debut LP Shrines, which is due on July 25 from 4AD, hit the internet.
