2.26 TVB Switched The Runner-Up Crowns?
The Miss Chinese International Pageant 2013 results have been determined, but it is suspected that TVB might have mistakenly switched up the winners' crowns. Denise & Carat Denies Mistake

The MCIP 2013 titleholders attended a prize ceremony this day. A reader with a keen eye spotted that winners' crown might have been mistakenly switched between the runner-ups. The champion's crown has three rows of diamonds. Hence, the first runner-up should have two and the second runner-up should have one. However, this was not the case seen at the ceremony, making readers to conclude that a mistake might have happened during the event.

Denise Tan (陈楚寰) and Carat Cheung (张名雅) denied the claim. She explained, "The diamonds are measured by size not by the number of rows." The crowns currently atop of their head are only props, as the actual one takes three months to order.

Denise does not mind the missing row of diamonds and does not know how to do the calculations. She believes that TVB would not have made such a mistake.

TVB To Inspect On The Incident

The reporters asked TVB for a confirmation, and the Deputy Director of External Affairs, Tsang Sing Ming revealed that the incident is currently being inspected.
