  • Celebrities including Heidi Range Lead Campaign For Early Detection

  • Celebrities and women affected by breast cancer have taken part in a photoshoot to highlight the importance of early detection of breast cancer, and to encourage mums and daughters to talk about breast awareness this Mother's Day.
The photoshoot saw ladies, including Dragon's Den investor Kelly Hoppen MBE, singer Heidi Range, fashion designer Zandra Rhodes (with her very on-brand pink hair!), comedienne Olivia Lee, DJ and model Leah Weller, actress and artist Leah Wood and DJ Krystal Roxx, model personalised t-shirts sharing their own breast awareness messages.
A recent survey by ICM Research for Breast Cancer Campaign, showed more than half of women in the UK, 51%, fail to check their breasts at least every month and almost three quarters of women, 72%, rarely or never discuss checking their breasts with friends or family. The survey also revealed that 36% of women were not confident they know how to check their breasts for cancer and 28% said they were not confident they would notice a change in their breasts.
We went behind the scenes of the photoshoot to capture the ladies designing their t-shirts and the messages they wanted to highlight to the public.

Talk To The Women In Your Life About Checking Yourself, You're Never Too Young Or Old To StartDesigner and Dragon's Den star Kelly Hoppen said: "Breast Cancer Campaign is a cause very close to my heart- my mother and my friends have had breast cancer and I've had my own breast cancer scare so I've seen the devastating impact it has on women's lives. Talk to the women in your life about checking yourself, you're never too young or old to start, and if you notice a change, do something about it and book an appointment with your GP."
Singer Heidi Range said: "Mother's Day is a time to be grateful for our lovely mums and there are a lot of them out there who have been, or could be, affected by breast cancer. Let's start checking our breasts regularly and talking to our mums about it to make sure they are too. Getting to know your body and noticing any changes could save your life."
DJ and model Leah Weller was photographed with her model boyfriend Tomo Kurata. Leah said: "Breast cancer is a disease that affects thousands of families across the UK every day, particularly mothers and daughters so don't forget to check your breasts and ask your mum and any of the women in your life to do the same. We need to start looking after each another and being more breast aware."
An Early Diagnosis Makes All The Difference In Treatment Options Available And Ultimately Survival Rates.Breast Cancer Campaign supporter Charlotte Pittuckcarries a mutated version of the BRCA2 breast cancer gene and is undergoing a double mastectomy this year. Charlotte said! : "As a! mother I felt honoured to take part in the early detection shoot. An early diagnosis makes all the difference in treatment options available and ultimately survival rates. In cancers where an altered BRCA gene is present and the cancer attacks younger and more aggressively, as could happen with my gene, then early detection is our only hope. Any shoot that highlights this to people of all backgrounds and ages I want to be a part of."
In the run up to Mother's Day, we want to highlight the importance of discussing the signs and symptoms of breast cancer and being breast aware. Passing on this knowledge to your loved ones can help save lives. Take our breast quiz to help understand the signs and symptoms of breast. And find out more about breast cancer screening.

She told OK!: 'A few of Jennifer's friends targeted me on Twitter and sent the most vile tweets you can ever imagine... I knew that I hadn't done anything wrong.'
'People thought we had been having an affair behind her back that I had stolen her man, and it absolutely wasn't true.'
Samia, who is seen on the co! ver dressed in lingerie, with a bare-chested Sylvain hugging her protectively, is adamant that neither her nor Sylvain ever cheated on their former partners - going on to explain in detail how they got together.

Sylvain has even admitted: 'It is love,' revealing how serious they have become over the last four months since meeting in November in a professional capacity.
The Coronation Street actress told OK!, 'We can finally say that we are together,' and added that they're hoping to 'live a normal life' after giving the interview, hoping to even be able to hold hands in public now they've had their say.
And one thing she was adamant in clearing up is when the relationship with Sylvain began - and whether it was while he was still with actress Jennifer Metcalfe, who he split from over Christmas.

'What should Sylvain have done? Should he have stayed with Jennifer even if he wasn't happy?
To coincide with their public declaration of love for each other, in pictures which will no doubt make Jennifer wince, the pair flaunted their feelings in intimate pictures.

In the photoshoot at Peckforton Castle in Cheshire, the pair also posed with huge grins in a variety of outfits in spots around the venue.

Samia split from her boyfriend, actor Will Thorp, shortly before she signed up to Dancing On Ice and has revealed everyone thought she was still with him at the start of the skating series because they hadn't gone public with the split.
In the interview the pair also reveal Samia has introduced Sylvain to her daughter Freya in the last few days - after they decided they were officially a couple.
And the pair even hint they're thinking of moving in together, while Samia insists she 'still believes in marriage'.

    • 'I've learnt so much about myself': Kate Winslet dazzles in classic shoot as she reveals how her third marriage has changed her

The past four years have, Kate Winslet claims, given her a new clarity about her life and work.
If only they had done the same for the way she expresses herself.
The 37-year-old actress supplied readers of Harper's Bazaar magazine with a rather rambling insight into her state of mind in an interview for the April edition.

But she also treated them to something more straightforward – a sultry photoshoot, running across ten pages.
Miss Winslet, who married third husband Ned Rocknroll last December, said: 'I've really learnt a great deal about myself, in the last four years in particular.
'I think I can see more clearly now – about how the pattern of past experiences has shaped who I am, an! d the characters I have played – and I'm grateful for that.

'I have so much more material to draw on  for work – rubble, bricks – and I know I can carry it now.
'I'm not going to drop it, and if I do, I'll sift through it. Does that make any sense at all? Probably not…'
Miss Winslet won her first Oscar in 2009, for The Reader, but her professional success was marred by her split from second husband, director Sam Mendes, the following year.
The couple have a son, Joe, now eight. Miss Winslet also has a daughter, 12-year-old Mia, from her first marriage to Jim Threapleton, which ended in 2001.
Her third husband, Mr Rocknroll, is Richard Branson's nephew.
The couple met in 2011 while they were both staying on Sir Richard's exclusive Caribbean island, Necker.
Full interview appears in the April issue of Harper's Bazaar UK on sale Thursday March 7. Also available as a digital edition.

      • Lindsay Lohan's bodyguard ordered to testify
Lindsay Lohan's bodyguard has been subpoenaed to testify in her upcoming trial and is said to be a ''reluctant'' witness.

Lindsay Lohan's bodyguard has been subpoenaed to testify in her upcoming trial and is said to be a ''reluctant'' witness.
Lindsay Lohan's bodyguard has been subpoenaed to testify in her upcoming trial.
The security guard is reportedly a ''reluctant witness'' in the case - which stems from a car accident last June and will see the troubled actress face charges including resisting, obstruction, providing false information to a police officer and reckless driving - but prosecutors believe he has vital evidence as he was driving directly behind Lindsay's car.
The guard was hired by the producers of the Elizabeth Taylor TV biopic 'Liz & Dick' to ensure she got to work on time and was safe and it is believed he will have the most accurate recollection of events.
A source told RadarOnline.com: ''The bodyguard was following Lindsay's Porsche as she headed to work that day ... Obviously, as he was right behind the car, he witnessed who was driving, and how the crash went down.
''He was also the person who drove Lohan to the hospital after the accident, so his testimony will be vital in establishing Lindsay's state of mind immediately after the crash and what exactly happened.''
As well as the bodyguard, the insider revealed several staff at the hotel where Lindsay was staying at the time of the crash have also been subpoenaed to testify.
It is expected their testimony will confirm they saw the 26-year-old actress get behind the wheel of her car and drive away, after she previously claimed her former assistant Gavin Doyle - who is to testify willingly - was driving.
The trial is scheduled to begin on March 18.
Even if the 'Mean Girls' star is acquitted, she could be jailed for up to 245 days for violating probation in her past necklace theft case.

Kristen Stewart's mother Jules has revealed she taught the 'Twilight' actress that it is ''OK to make mistakes'' and ''fail''.
Kristen Stewart's mother taught her ''it's OK to make mistakes''.
The 'Twilight Saga' actress' mum Jules Stewart raised the star - who was embroiled in scandal last year when she cheated on boyfriend Robert Pattinson with her married 'Snow White and the Huntsman' director Rupert Sanders - to view mistakes and failures as valuable learning experiences.
In an interview with the Suicide Girls website, Jules said: ''Well I tried to raise my kids. I didn't raise then to be children, I raised them to be adults.
''That is a concept that might be lost on a lot of people. I also tried to make them understand that it's OK to make mistakes, so don't be afraid to have a go at doing something different. And in that vein of, 'I'm interested in this, let's try it, let's see what happens.' My kids have always been the first ones on the line ready to have a go at something different.
''And it's OK to fail, because that's how you learn, when you fail.''
The 22-year-old actress - who has two brothers - publicly apologised to Robert, 26, following her affair with married father-of-two Rupert last year, calling it a ''momentary indiscretion''.
She said: ''I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardised the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry.''

Sir Elton John thought children were ''annoying'' until he had his own - and now he cherishes every minute with them.
The 'Rocket Man' hitmaker and his husband David Furnish welcomed baby son Elijah Joseph into their family in January, a brother for two-year-old Zachary, and he admits having the kids - who were born via a surrogate - has been the best thing that's ever happened in his life.
He said: ''I used to think kids were annoying, but the boys are the best thing that's ever happened to us.''
The couple enjoy nothing more than relaxing at home with their two sons and spending quality time together as a family.
Speaking in the new issue of Closer magazine, Elton said: ''We live in a big house all on one floor and hang out in the living room together.''
The singer threw his annual Oscars party in Los Angeles in February and this year little Zachary spent an hour enjoying the occasion and he loved dressing up the same as one of his fathers.
Speaking at the bash, Elton said: ''Zachary couldn't wait to wear a little tuxedo - just like David.''

Russell Brand thinks of Tom Cruise when he does yoga.
The British funnyman is a huge fan of the ancient Indian spiritual and physical discipline and the actor - who he starred with in 'Rock of Ages' - bought him a yoga mat which means his thoughts turn to Tom as he's exercising.
During an appearance on UK TV show 'This Morning', Russell said: ''Tom Cruise bought me a yoga mat, although I don't know if it was actually from him. Certainly someone who works for Tom Cruise sent me a yoga mat and said here's a yoga mat and think of Tom Cruise when you do yoga. And I do.
''I like yoga a lot, I don't think there's a problem doing yoga and meditating every day ... there's a daily access to unseen realms of power - not just me, everyone has that within themselves! Yoga and meditation for me is a way of accessing very beautiful principles that perhaps make us happier at a time when people feel disillusioned with the economy, concerned about the ecology, worried with politicians, don't trust what they are being told on television...''
Russell - who was once married to singer Katy Perry - also revealed he is happy most of them time and feels at his most contented when he is treating other people well.
When asked if he was happy, Russell replied: ''Yes. Intermittently. Happiness cannot forever be sustained like some glistening bauble, it's a transitory thing like a butterfly ... so I'm happy mostly when I'm being nice to other people.''
      • Paul McCartney's life focus of new comic book
NEW YORK (Reuters) - Singer Paul McCartney's decision to leave the Beatles and embark on a solo career is the subject of a new comic book that aims to give fans a new perspective on the breakup of the Fab Four, its publisher said on Tuesday.
The 24-page "Paul McCartney: Carry that Weight" is the third comic book by U.S. publisher Bluewater Productions about the iconic British band, which spilt-up in 1970.
Speculation about what caused the breakup has ranged from artistic differences and legal disputes outside the group to John Lennon's marriage to artist Yoko Ono.
McCartney has said that the group, which also included George Harrison and Ringo Starr, had already been winding down by the time Lennon met Ono.
"It is about Paul McCartney leaving the Beatles. We tell that story," publisher Darren Davis said.
"These are comic books. They're meant to be fun but educational, as well," he added.
Although the writer reached out to the former Beatle, Davis said McCartney, 70, did not contribute to the comic book.
Lennon and McCartney co-wrote a string of hit songs including "She Loves You," "I Want to Hold Your Hand," and "A Hard Day's Night."
After leaving the Beatles, McCartney enjoyed a successful solo career and formed the band Wings with his first wife, Linda McCartney.
He will perform at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Tennessee in June.
The comic book will be released digitally and be available in stores on Wednesday.

Cheryl Cole, Nadine Coyle and Kimberley Walsh are three fifths of one of the world's most famous girl bands.
And while they are currently dazzling the UK with their show-stopping reunion arena tour, the songstresses are all looking forward to the weekend, when they can spend some quality time with the most important people in their lives: their mums.
With Mother's Day fast approaching, three Girls Aloud singers have opened up about exactly what their mums mean to them to coincide with their current tour sponsor Pandora's Mother's Day jewellery collection.

Speaking in the exclusive video, 27-year-old Nadine said of her mother Lillian: 'Me and my mum have such a good relationship, it's such a special f! riendship that it's like best friends, I would do everything with my mum.
'She's great, just like my best friend,' she added.
As for Cheryl Cole, 29, the rule is where you find Cheryl, there you will also find her mother Joan Callaghan.
Joan, a diminutive figure who is even shorter than her 5ft 3ins daughter, has been sharing Cheryl's high life for years now.
People who know Cheryl say that without her mother she would not be able to cope.
'I've come to the conclusion that I don't trust anybody in life except my mother and my dogs. I love having her there,' Cheryl once told an interviewer.

Joan even moved in with Cheryl and Ashley Cole just after they married, and Cheryl relied on her more and more as her marriage crumbled.

The 'Boyfriend' singer caused uproar as fans waited nearly two hours for him to begin his 'Believe' concert at The O2 arena, but the pop star has claimed the delay was out of his control due to unidentified problems and insisted he was only 40 minutes late for his performance.
Justin wrote on his Twitter account: ''Since i have been here it hasnt been easy with the press at times but I have loved it. so let me say this ... last night i was scheduled after 3 opening acts to go on stage at 935 not 830 but because of some technical issues i got on at 10:10... so i was 40 min late to stage. there is no excuse for that and I apologize for anyone we upset. Justin is set to perform three more concerts at The O2 this week and promises his gig tonight will run smoother.

Jennifer Lopez says her friendships are ''priceless''.
The singer-and-actress really values her relationships with her girlfriends because they are there for her no matter what.
She said: ''Oh my God, my girlfriends are everything to me. They celebrate with you, they cry with you, they hold you when you need to be held. They laugh with you. They're mean with you! They're just always there, and it's just a priceless thing to have.''
Although Jennifer - who has five-year-old twins, Max and Emme, with ex-husband Marc Anthony - is often voted one of the world's most beautiful women, she says physically attractiveness doesn't make someone interesting.
She told Glam Belleza Latina magazine: ''People praise me for being physically pretty. You can think, That's who I am. But who you really are is all the messy, complex stuff. That makes you more interesting.''
Jennifer - who is now dating dancer Casper Smart - also says she values her individuality and likes being able to stand out from the crowd.
She said: ''I am confident. It doesn't mean I don't have my moments. But you have to remember the value of your individuality - that you have something special and different to offer that nobody else has.''

Caroline Flack is in talks to host the US version of 'X Factor'.
The British TV presenter - who famously dated One Direction hunk Harry Styles - is said to have been inundated with offers of work in America following her stint covering the BAFTA Awards for E!, but show chief Simon Cowell is particularly keen to have her involved with his talent show, following the axing of Khloe Kardashian, who presented the last series with Mario Lopez.
And if she doesn't land the main hosting role, Caroline, 33, could also be asked to host a spin-off similar to 'The Xtra Factor', which follows the main show in the UK and is co-hosted by the blonde beauty and Olly Murs.
A source told heat magazine: ''It's early days, but Simon has chatted with Caroline about working on 'The X Factor USA'. He thinks she's absolutely brilliant on 'Xtra Factor'.
''At the Sony BRITs party, he and Caroline sat in the corner all night together, having a long, animated talk. He really likes her cheeky, down-to-earth TV persona and how nothing fazes her.''
However, Caroline is said to be unsure whether she wants to make a move to America.
A friend said: ''She wants to take her time. She loves working on 'The Xtra Factor' and she would never leave the UK permanently.

Chantelle Houghton says Preston was the love of her life.
The former 'Celebrity Big Brother' winner - who split from cage fighter Alex Reid, with whom she has eight-month-old daughter Dolly, last year - divorced the Ordinary Boys singer in November 2007 after just over a year of marriage, and she knows he will ''always be there'' for her if she needs him.
When asked if he was the love of her life, the blonde beauty replied: ''Yeah, definitely.
''He texted me a couple of weeks ago. He's just gone to Miami to write with Enrique Iglesias. I know that I'll always speak to him as a friend and he'll always be there if I need him. I'm glad it's worked out that way.''
While the former couple - who met on reality TV show 'Celebrity Big Brother' in 2006 - are on speaking terms, Chantelle insisted they will never get back together and she hasn't introduced him to her daughter.
She added in an interview with new! magazine: ''I love him, but I'm not in love with him. He'll always be special to me.''
And despite her fertility problems in the past, Chantelle is prepared to have IVF treatment to have another baby.
When asked if she would consider having IVF if she met the right person, she replied: ''Oh, definitely, yeah.
''I'd rather have more children than worry about my body.
''They gave me a couple of years [to have a baby]. Who knows? Dolly might be my only child, but I'm just glad I've got her.''
