Lindsay Lohan's former assistant has reportedly agreed to give evidence against the star.
The troubled actress is facing a series of charges relating to a car accident last June - including resisting, obstruction, providing false information to a police officer and reckless driving - and her former employee Gavin Doyle has agreed to co-operate with prosecutors and confirm Lindsay was behind the wheel when the crash occurred.
A source told RadarOnline.com: ''Gavin was formally subpoenaed by prosecutors last month. He was the passenger in the Porsche Lindsay was driving when the car accident happened last summer.
''Gavin has been cooperating with prosecutors and will testify that Lindsay was driving the car that day. He will tell the truth, because he has nothing to hide. He has been extremely concerned for her health and well-being.''
The 'Liz & Dick' star - who has rejected a plea deal that would see her avoid jail time in return for a 60-day stint in rehab because she doesn't have an alcohol problem - is expected to be shocked by Gavin's willingness to help prosecutors but he believes it is in his famous ex-employer's best interests as it will help her ''get her life together''.
The source added: ''Lindsay will likely be stunned at Gavin's willingness to cooperate with the case against her. Gavin just wants Lindsay to get her life together. If Lindsay doesn't reach a plea deal in the case, Gavin will testify against her, and he won't be forced to do it.''

LeAnn Rimes wouldn't ''encourage'' her children to enter showbusiness.
The 30-year-old singer - who is stepmother to husband Eddie Cibrian's sons Mason, nine, and Jake, five, who he had with ex-wife Brandi Glanville - insists she will be honest about fame if she was to have children of her own with the 'CSI' star as she wouldn't want them thinking the journey to stardom is a ''fairy tale''.
She explained: ''I'd let [my own child] develop their talent but it's important to let kids be kids. I wouldn't encourage them to enter the industry at a young age.
''I'd be honest with them about what goes on - it's not a fairy tale. Wanting to be a superstar is all very well but don't believe the facade. Especially because it's getting harder to get into the industry anyway.''
LeAnn has been in a bitter feud with 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star Brandi ever since she married Eddie in 2011, but the blonde beauty - who was married to Dean Sheremet when she struck up a relationship with Eddie - tries to look at the positive outcomes of the situation and is confident of her true talent.
She told the Metro newspaper: ''It has been an ongoing story for [the US tabloids]. At least I sell magazines for them - I guess that's the positive - but it's involved some very wrong information.
''Sometimes I comment on it, sometimes I don't. They're going to write what they want to write anyway. I just read I bathe in Evian water - some of the stories are so insane.
''I try to let it roll off my back but it's gone on for a long time. I have a talent, I can sing. I don't earn my money from trying to hurt people.''

Bradley Cooper's life hasn't ''been the same'' since his father's death.
The 'Silver Linings Playbook' was unaffected by missing out an Oscar for Best Actor at last month's Academy Awards because watching his father, stoke broker Charles J. Cooper, lose his battle to lung cancer two years ago put his life in perspective.
He explained to British GQ magazine: ''Death became very real. And very tangible. Because my father - someone who had been in my life for 36 years is just f***ing gone.
''I watched him dying and I was there by his bed watching him, breathing with him, and then I saw his last breath and he was gone. I experienced the whole thing. And that was a watershed moment that I was privileged to experience. And it changed everything. Nothing has ever been the same since.''
Since his father's death, the 38-year-old actor has admitted he doesn't ''sweat s***'' like winning awards for his acting work and believes it's probably for the best that he didn't win an Oscar.
He said: ''You know William Blake's 'Songs Of Innocence?' Well, right there, in that moment, the innocence was gone. Done. Never to return. The beauty is that I just don't sweat s**t anymore.
''I don't want to win an Oscar. It would change nothing. Nothing. The things in my life that aren't fulfilled would not be fulfilled. Career-wise, right now, it's better that I don't win one. I don't want to win. I don't.''

Jude Law is ''proud'' but not ''fulfilled'' by his career so far.
The 'Side Effects' star turned 40 at the end of December and is looking forward to taking his acting to a new level as he enters a new decade of his life.
He said: ''I [am] optimistic about my 40s. The roles should get more complex. I look back and I'm proud of the work I've done but not fulfilled by it. I feel in some areas I've only scratched the surface.''
Jude is glad he got to play Hamlet on stage in London before he reached the landmark age, and although he didn't quite make it before 40, he's looking forward to ticking off another of Shakespeare's characters, Henry V, at the end of this year.
In an interview with The Guardian newspaper, he explained: ''I wanted to play [Hamlet] before I was 40. My feeling is always commit and do it. You don't want to get to 50 and have not played Hamlet. I wanted to play Henry before I was 40 too, but I just missed it. He died when he was 37 so he has got to be played as a young king and I think I can get there with a little help from prosthetics. I'm joking.''

She is one of the world's most beautiful and recognisable women, so painting an accurate portrait of the Duchess of Cambridge will never be easy.
But one woman has been praised for her 'warm' portrait of Kate - weeks after the official one was slammed by critics.
Artist Norren Denzil, 47, was inspired to paint her own picture of the former Kate Middleton after the official portrait by Paul Emsley was branded 'rotten' and 'unflattering'.

She spent three weeks perfecting her portrait of the princess, showing her looking relaxed and beaming warmly.
And now Norren has grand plans to show her hard work to the Duchess.
      !
'The official portrait is technically brilliant but I don't think it captures the true natural beauty and personality of the Duchess,' said Noreen, who lives in Moulton, near Newmarket, Suffolk.

'She has a great deal of warmth, which is why she is so popular and I wanted to show that in a portrait of my own.
'I'm pleased with the result and I've had a lot of good feedback, saying that my picture makes her look much more human.'

Noreen, whose past pictures have been snapped up by the chief executive of advertising agency Saatchi, used a series of photos of Kate as inspiration for her portrait.
In the final portrait she is shown dressed in a red suit which she wore on the Royal trip to Calgary in Canada.

Noreen now hopes to sell the portrait for £2,000, with the proceeds going to a charity of the Duchess's choosing.
She said: 'I am going to contact Clarence House as I would like the Duchess to see the portrait and choose a charity for the money to be donated to.'
In the past Noreen has also painted Princess Diana, Marlon Brando, Jack Nicholson, Daniel Craig, Bob Marley, Mick Jagger and Jimi Hendrix.

When the first official portrait of the Duchess of Cambridge was unveiled at the National Portrait Gallery in January it was greeted with a global eyebrow-raise you could practically hear.
Though Kate herself, 31, said Paul Emsley's likeness of her was 'amazing' and 'brilliant', and her husband Prince William told the artist it was 'absolutely beautiful', critics dismissed it as unflattering, ageing and even 'rotten'.
Emsley even bit back at his critics, saying the aftermath of its unveiling felt like a 'witch hunt', but that there is still 'nothing I would have changed' about his painting.
Critical: Paul Emsley's official por! trait was! met by much criticism, although both the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were impressed
Critical: Paul Emsley's official portrait was met by much criticism, although both the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were impressed
Speaking to Hello! magazine, he said: 'Some of the words written about it were so personal. I'd be inhuman if I said it didn't affect me. When you take on commissions like this it is hazardous and you expect a bit of flak, but I expected nothing like the criticism I have received. I didn't expect it to go to the levels it did.
'It felt like a bit of a witch hunt and people who have not even seen my portrait joined in with what quickly became a circus. The worst thing is it was not only destructive to me, but particularly upsetting for my two daughters and my wife.'
Emsley said that the praise of the Duke and Duchess meant more to him 'than anything else said or written', but that he would urge people to visit the National Portrait Gallery since he feels 'half the problem is that the portrait doesn't photograph well'.
According to the gallery, the number of people visiting since the painting went on display on 11 January has risen from 24,000 over that weekend, up from 17,000 the week before.
The Telegraph reported that postcards of the portrait are the fastest-selling item in the history of the gallery's permanent collection.

Britain's youngest schoolgirl racer Jamie Chadwick has beaten the boys to win a £40,000 track deal.
The fourteen-year-old is studying for her GCSE exams during the week - but at weekends she will soon be swapping her uniform for a flame-proof racing suit.
Jamie has won a prized scholarship from car makers Ginetta to campaign one of their racing cars in a championship that begins later this month.
Her backers predict the teenager will give the boys in the championship a real run for their money and could easily progress up the racing ladder to Formula One.

Jamie, who lives near Tetbury, Gloucestershire, began her motor racing career when she was just 11, in go-karts, but last year beat dozens of 14 to 16-year-olds to win full funding, worth £40,000, for her to race in the 2013 Ginetta Junior Championship.
She will be racing in a rear-wheel drive Ginetta G40 with a restricted 100bhp output from a standard 1.8 litre Ford engine.
But the sleek two-seater cars are still capable of speeds in excess of 120 mph on the track and are highly manoeuvrable.
Jamie said: 'It's a dream come true. I have been watching the championship hoping one day to get involved and winning the scholarship has made it possible.
'I drove quads and things when I was younger but didn't start in karts until I was 12 which is relatively late these days.
'I want to become a professional driver and establish a proper career in the sport.

'The scholarship test was a terrific event staged over three days and there were sixty other drivers competing including some from Europe.
'We were tested not only on our driving ability but also on our fitness and media skills. On the final day there were just four of us left but I worked really ha! rd in eve! ry discipline and the competition was tough but when I was announced as the winner it was a fantastic feeling.

'This is a brilliant opportunity for young racers to move up. Jenson Button is my hero - and he started in go-karts before moving up to racing cars . But he was 18 when he made the switch from karts.
'I definitely see females as Formula One drivers. There is no reason why a woman can't succeed at the highest level and with the right opportunity and support it is only a matter of time.
'Inevitably some men like to think they are better drivers than women but it is not always the case - there are plenty of hopeless male drivers around.'
Ginetta's general manager Simon Finnis said: 'During the scholarship programme Jamie impressed us with her speed, skill and personality.'

And the actress, who also appeared naked in BBC drama The Tribe in 1998 and on stage in Breakfast At Tiffany's four years ago, revealed that she has no problems baring all.
'I didn't mind being naked,' she said in an interview in April's edition of Easy Living magazine, which is accompanied by photographs of her taken by rock star Bryan Adams.
'I've always been OK with my body. We've all got t**s. I've also got b***s – I just don't show them very often.'
Friel, who has a daughter from a previous relationship with actor David Thewlis, said juggling the demands of motherhood and acting was a challenge: 'I'm 36. My friends are freezing their eggs. It's much harder to be a woman these days.

You wait six years for a relay gold medal and then two come along at once.
Great Britain scooped both 4 x 400-metre titles at the European Indoor Championships in Gothenburg yesterday as the team signed off a successful three days of competition in dramatic fashion.
Perri Shakes-Drayton won her second gold medal of the day, following her victory in the individual event, as she anchored Britain's women to glory, and then the men's team crossed the line first — only to be disqualified and then reinstated.

Michael Bingham, Richard Buck, Nigel Levine, who ran a sensational 45.8sec third leg, and Richard Strachan were halfway round their lap of honour when officials ruled Buck had committed an infringement at the start of his leg.
The 26-year-old stepped o! ff the track after being barged by Poland's Rafal Omelko on the first bend, but an appeal saw Great Britain reinstated with the gold and the Polish team disqualified instead.
Britain have an abysmal record in the 4 x 100m relay outdoors — they have failed to get the baton round four times in the last five Olympic Games — and have not won a European indoor relay gold since 2007, so these two titles were particularly satisfying.
Bingham, 26, said: 'I don't ever want to win or lose because of people really not being sportsmanlike. It was a blatant push and it was only one step. Richard tried to stay on the track. Anyone could see we won.'

'It was great,' said UK Athletics head coach Peter Eriksson after his first championship since taking over from Charles van Commenee. 'We said we were going to do better and we did. We won one more gold medal than last time (in Paris in 2011)  and we have more to come.
'Jess Ennis wasn't here and Mo Farah wasn't here, so we're missing athletes, but these guys will now get the taste for doing (even) better. Perri was absolutely fantastic and we've not seen the best of her yet.'
Shakes-Drayton was the star of yesterday, winning individual gold in 50.85sec — the fastest time in the world this year — ahead of Eilidh Child, who set a new Scottish record of 51.45sec to claim silver. Shana Cox faded to sixth in 53.15sec, but the trio,  accompanied by Christine ! Ohuruogu! , returned to win relay gold.

At 5ft 8in, Shakes-Drayton, 24, should not be suited to the tighter bends indoors, but she looked so strong and fluid that her performance posed questions about whether she should switch from the hurdles and concentrate on the 400m flat.
Her victories, however, only went part of the way to easing the pain of missing out on last year's Olympic final. 'I still want to achieve over the 400m  hurdles,' she said. 'I haven't  fulfilled my full potential, so I'm still a 400m hurdler.
'Every disappointment makes you stronger. I think you need a setback to come back stronger and I think I've proved that.'

Levine, 23, was also a double medallist, winning relay gold and a silver in the individual 400m, in which Bingham and Strachan finished fifth and sixth respectively.
Mukhtar Mohammed won bronze in a feisty men's 800m final, but there was disappointment for team captain and defending champion Jenny Meadows in the women's equivalent. The 31-year-old blamed a 'tactical error' on the final back straight after finishing fourth in only her fourth race back after 17 months without a competitive race owing to an achilles injury.
On Saturday, Holly Bleasdale won a jump-off against! Anna Rog! owska from Russia to secure gold in the pole vault, Olympic bronze medallist Robbie Grabarz  finished sixth in the high jump and James Dasaolu won silver in the men's 60m.

            GREAT BRITAIN'S MEDALLISTS IN GOTHENBURG

Great Britain finished second in the medal table at the European Indoor Championships in Gothenburg after winning eight medals, including four golds. Here, Press Association Sport looks at how they were won.
            GOLD
Bleasdale, women's pole vault: Twenty-one-year-old Bleasdale took the title following a dramatic jump-off with Poland's Anna Rogowska after rejecting the chance to share the gold. Her clearance, for the second time, of 4.67 metres secured victory.

            SILVER
Dasaolu, men's 60m: Dasaolu won his first senior British medal with a 6.48secs run, coming agonisingly close to gold with winner Jimmy Vicaut of France given the same time.
Child, women's 400m: Child made it a British one-two in the 400m, tracking Shakes-Drayton all the way round to come home second in a personal best 51.45s.
Levine, men's 400m: The Linford Christie-coached tangled with Russia's Pavel Trenikhin on the final bend, but recovered to finish second in 46.21.
            BRONZE
Mohammed, men's 800m: The 22-year-old was twice barged into by Anis Ananenka of Belarus, the second time as the pair battled to get across the line, with Mohammed just nicking third by 0.01.

Katherine Jackson's civil lawsuit against AEG Live in which she claims the concert promoter negligently hired and supervised Doctor Conrad Murray while he cared for her son, Michael Jackson, will go to trial.
Katherine Jackson's civil lawsuit against AEG Live will go to trial.
Katherine wants the concert promoter to face action as she says they were responsible for hiring Doctor Conrad Murray to care for her son Michael Jackson prior to his death from acute Propofol intoxication in 2009.
And while Superior Court Judge Yvette Palazuelos dismissed all but one claim in Katherine's lawsuit, her allegation AEG negligently hired and supervised Dr. Murray while he cared for her son will go to trial.
The ruling dismissed claims AEG could be held liable for Murray's conduct and breached its duty to properly care for the pop superstar.
The trial will start on April 2.
AEG Live was promoting Michael's 'This Is It' comeback concerts at The O2 arena in London, but the 'Thriller' hitmaker died in June 2009, aged 50, while in final preparations for the shows after Murray administered a lethal dose of the anaesthetic Propofol in Michael's bedroom.
Katherine's lawyer Kevin Boyle had argued AEG controlled Dr. Murray's actions and failed to properly investigate him before agreeing to pay him to work as the singer's physician.
He cited Dr. Murray's debt problems as a huge concern AEG should have spotted and contends the company created a serious conflict between his responsibility to Jackson and his own financial well-being.
in November 2011, Dr. Murray was convicted of the involuntary manslaughter of Michael.

Mel C has been named Mum of the Year.
The former Spice Girl picked up Tesco's Celebrity Mum of the Year Award accompanied by her own mother, Joan O'Neill at the awards ceremony at The Savoy Hotel in London on Sunday (03.02.13).
The 39-year-old star - who raises four-year-old daughter Scarlet - was ''really chuffed'' to be awarded the prize alongside five other inspirational women, but admitted she sometimes struggles to successful balance her work life with her parental responsibilities.
She stated: ''Going to work sometimes is like a little bit of a break. Nothing is as hard as entertaining children all day long and taking care of them.
''It brings a whole new set of problems with the jigsaw puzzle of childcare and the guilt you feel from being away.
''So that's interesting and it's something you're constantly working on, getting the balance right.''
Michelle Heaton, Louis Smith and Denise Van Outen joined Mel at the star-studded event, with Michelle and Louis proudly linking arms with their own mothers on the red carpet.
'The Only Way Is Essex's loveable matriarchs Carol Wright and Nanny Pat were also in attendance and were joined by fan favourite co-star Debbie Douglas, who posed with her daughter Lydia Bright.

Adele's aunt Anita Adkins insists success hasn't changed the 'Skyfall' hitmaker and she is as down-to-earth as ever.
                Adele is still ''thrifty''.
The 24-year-old singer - who earns around £41,000 a day from sales of her 2011 album '21' - may have splashed out on a £7 million mansion in West Sussex, South England and £800,000 on a home in London's Notting Hill, but her aunt Anita Adkins insists she hasn't changed with her new-found wealth.
Anita said: ''She hasn't changed with her success, she is who she is. What you see is what you get, the package.
''Apart from a few expensive ballgowns, why would she change because she's earning £41,000 a day.
''She's quite thrifty with her money, she knows not to throw it around. She's not a waster, she wasn't brought up to waste.
''She's got a nice house - course you would have a nice house, that's the first thing you'd buy. But what's the difference between her house and mine? Only it's a bit bigger.''
Anita insists Adele - who has six-month-old son Angelo with partner Simon Konecki - is still treated exactly the same as she always was when she visits family and is expected to do her share of the chores.
She added in an interview with The Sun newspaper: ''She doesn't get any special treatment, of course not. Why would she?
''There's plenty of nieces, nephews and grandchildren in this family so no one gets any special treatment, I can tell you. They're all treated the same.
''Adele comes round and she's still got to go and make her nan a cup of tea.''
