Rochelle Wiseman knew she ''had'' to wear a Vera Wang dress to her wedding to Marvin Humes last week because she is the ''ultimate'' designer.
Rochelle Wiseman ''had'' to have a Vera Wang dress for her wedding to Marvin Humes.
The Saturdays beauty - who said her vows in front of her bandmates, friends and family at Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire, England, on Friday (27.07.12) - admits her gown was the first thing she thought of when the JLS hunk proposed to her in December 2011.
She said: ''It had to be Vera Wang. Marvin proposed two days into a ten-day holiday and I was itching to get back so I could go and find my dress.
''To me, Vera Wang's designs are the ultimate. I knew I'd find my dream dress in her collection and I did.''
Rochelle bought the first dress she tried on, despite being forced to sample other gowns.
She added to Britain's HELLO! magazine: ''It was the first one I tried on. The assistants made me try on others, but I was so half-hearted I didn't bother to do them up properly because I knew - I just knew - I'd found the one.''
The 23-year-old singer found the price of the event did keep rising, but Marvin - who was joined by his JLS bandmates for the wedding - did not want to stop his future wife from having anything she wanted.
She added: ''The budget crept up and up because I kept adding elements to the day. Whenever Marvin got a bit cross about it, I'd make with the puppy dog eyes and he'd go, 'No, babe, don't give me that face!' ''

Lily Allen has been gripped by Olympic Games fever.
The 27-year-old singer has been glued to her TV set watching a number of events, such as cycling and diving, since the London 2012 sporting spectacle officially got underway on Friday evening (27.07.12) - but she took to her twitter account to lambast some of her male friends who are rating female athletes purely on their sex appeal.
She tweeted: ''Watching lympix with Lads is unbearable. female athletes are being scored on bonkability only. BLOOD IS BOILING. (sic)''
Lily is gearing up to watch British diving pair Tom Daley and Peter Waterfield go for a gold medal later today (30.07.12) in the 10m synchronised diving final, and she is keen to see Team GB bring home as many medals as possible.
In a series of tweets, she wrote: ''It's Tom Daley Day !!!! Go on TOM
''And Pete, and all the other Team GB athletes competing. (sic)''
Lily is desperate to see Team GB's beach volleyball beauties Zara Dampney and Shauna Mullin in action at Horse Guards Parade after watching the pair beat Canada yesterday (29.07.12), but emotions got the better of the brunette beauty - who is expecting her second child with husband Sam Cooper - while watching the cycling.
In a series of tweets, she wrote: ''I wanna go to the beach volleyball #sport #Olympics.

Tim Hiddleston and Sean Bean are to appear together in a new episode of 'Family Guy'.
The British actors will both have guest roles in the hit US animated comedy and, according to Total Film, they will both play characters ''cut from the same cloth''.
No further information has been released about their roles.
Tom has recently lent his voice for another TV animation, 'Robot Chicken', in between shooting on Jim Jarmusch's vampire romance 'Only Loves Left Alive'.
Sean recently starred in fantasy drama 'Game of Thrones'.
It was recently revealed 'Modern Family' star Sophia Vergara had also landed a cameo role on 'Family Guy', appearing as main character Peter Griffin's sexual fantasy.
The curvy Columbian star will voice her own cartoon alter-ego when bumbling father Peter fantasises about the actress as he daydreams about being a telenovela star.
Sofia will also voice a woman selling roses in a restaurant in the same episode.
The eleventh series of 'Family Guy' - which is scheduled to air in the US from September 30 - will be star-studded with Johnny Depp, Ryan Reynolds, Elizabeth Banks and Kellan Lutz all scheduled to make an appearance.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley wants to have children.
The 25-year-old model - who is in a relationship with actor Jason Statham - thinks her career is ''very self-indulgent'' and she is looking forward to reaching a point where she wants to shift her focus to other people instead.
She told the new issue of Britain's Elle magazine: ''I always see myself working, but definitely being a mum will be a big part of me. Look, I think my career is very self-indulgent. It's all about me.
''I'm not a doctor, I'm not looking after people, I'm not saving children. I'm in the entertainment business. I'm a model. I'm an actress. So it is very self-involved and I think there is naturally a point where you think, 'I don't care about myself as number one any more.' I want to care about other things.''
Rosie also admitted she ''hated'' modelling when she first began her career.
She explained: ''I wasn't quite tall enough either and I hated it, to be honest. There was no individuality, no opportunity to be individuals.
''I think that people forget you're human and you just become an object. In New York, I was constantly reminded that I wasn't right wherever I went and that was difficult because I'd come from a place where it didn't matter.''

Michael Jackson's children went to see his brothers perform their 'Unity' tour this weekend.
Prince Michael, 15, Paris, 14, and 10-year-old Prince Michael II, who is known as Blanket were accompanied by their grandmother Katherine Jackson - who temporarily lost custody of the kids last week following her mysterious holiday to Arizona - to Marlon, Tito, Jackie and Jermaine Jackson's concert in Saratoga, California.
Katherine and the children watching the show may be a show of family unity after last week's actions which saw Jermaine - alongside his sister Janet and brother Randy - try to storm the house where Prince, Paris and Blanket live in a bid to take them to Arizona.
The children had earlier voiced their concerns after Katherine had gone ''missing'' for a number of days and they had not spoken to her.
In Katherine's absence, the children were put under guardianship of Michael's nephew TJ, the son of Tito Jackson. Since Katherine's return to California they will now share custody of the children.
However, the battle is far from over, and Prince has tweeted his worries over the current divide in his family.
He wrote: ''As long as I can remember my dad repeatedly warned me of certain people and their ways.
''Although I am happy my grandma was returned, after speaking with her I realise how misguided and how badly she was lied to. I'm really angry and hurt.''

Jay-Z and Beyonce Knowles have splashed out $400,000 to rent a holiday home for the whole of August.
The couple are to take their seven-month-old daughter Blue Ivy to the Hamptons - an exclusive group of villages in Long Island, New York - for the first time by letting the 11-acre property on Halsey Lane in Bridgehampton, known as the Sandcastle, which is currently on the market for $43.5 million.
Jay and Beyonce will be able to relax in the property's 60-foot heated pool, which comes complete with underwater stereo system, and if they are feeling sporty then the two-lane bowling alley, virtual golf facilities, skateboard half-pipe or tennis court might be useful.
The 'Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)' hitmaker can also take the opportunity to teach her daughter some of the tricks of the showbiz trade in the home's ''children's performing area'', and the property also features squash, racquetball and basketball courts with moving walls and a retractable hoop, according to the listing on Corcoran.com.
It's not the first time the house - which the Jonas Brothers were once thought to be interested in purchasing - has been rented out for a staggering fee.
In 2010, single mother Cheryl Mercuris paid $500,000 to let the abode for just two weeks in an attempt to find a billionaire husband - but she is said to have failed in her mission.

Robert Pattinson has ''nobody to talk to'' about his relationship problems.
The 'Twilight Saga' star has moved out of the Los Angeles home he shared with Kristen Stewart following her admission she cheated on him with married director Rupert Sanders and has reportedly left friends worried by sharing his woes with fellow guests at the hotel where he is temporarily staying.
One pal told The Sun newspaper: ''Robert has resorted to asking strangers out to keep him company.
''He went out for drinks with a woman staying in his hotel and he told her it was 'ridiculous' he had nobody to talk to.''
The 26-year-old hunk has also been spending a lot of time alone trying to forget his relationship difficulties.
The source added: ''He's been spending most of his days off just playing computer games.''
After both Robert and Kristen moved out of their Los Angeles house, friends fear they won't be able to repair their damaged relationship.
A source said: ''I'm not sure they'll be able to recover from this. [Robert] is heartbroken and angry.
''Kristen really loves Rob more than anything. He's all that matters to her right now.''

Rihanna invited Tinie Tempah to join her in Italy this weekend.
The 'You Da One' hitmaker has been enjoying an extended yachting holiday in the Mediterranean since last week, but was so keen to discuss a possible collaboration with the British rapper - who performed at the Global Gathering festival in Stratford-upon-Avon, England, on Friday (27.07.12) - she asked him to fly out and join her for a ''wild'' night.
A source told The Sun newspaper: ''Rihanna loves Tinie's music and is fond of him as a person, too. She's very keen to work with him at some point, which was discussed at length over dinner.
''Obviously eating took up a small part of the night as he joined her crew on yet another wild night. It won't be one that he will forget in a hurry.''
Both Drake and ex-boyfriend Chris Brown have spent time with Rihanna while she has been enjoying a break.
She has been spotted enjoying a number of parties and snorkelling while in the Mediterranean.
However, on her stint in the South of France one get-together had to be closed down because of the excessive noise.
A source said: ''The sound system on Rihanna's yacht has taken a pounding since they arrived. Local cops were forced to have a word because the volume had got out of control.
''Rihanna didn't argue and even asked if they wanted to join the party.''

The 'Total Recall' actress - who is engaged to Justin Timberlake - says penning her own verses helps her stay in touch with her spiritual side.
She said: ''I like being able to write when I find the time to get into it.
''I love reading poetry and I've written poetry myself since I was in school.
''It's very calming and spiritual to be able to get in touch with emotions and states of mind to write poetry.''
As well as writing, the 30-year-old beauty - who scaled Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania in January 2010 to raise awareness of environmental issues - loves spending time outdoors, which she believes stems from her upbringing.
She added in an interview with The Sun newspaper: ''My father was always telling me to go outside and appreciate nature.
''I was raised by hippie kind of parents and the wild and open spaces were something I was taught to value. I had a really great childhood and I still love being outdoors and having a healthy respect for nature.
''That's one of the reasons I wanted to go to Kilimanjaro to draw attention to the issue of global warming.
''It was the hardest thing I ever did in my life but I'm glad I made the journey. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.''

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are ''taking a break'' from trying for a baby.
The couple - who married in September 2009 and star in their own reality TV show, 'Khloe and Lamar' - have been trying to get pregnant ever since they tied the knot but now basketball star Lamar wants them to stop so he can concentrate on his career.
A source close to Lamar - who recently moved to the Los Angeles Clippers after being traded from the Dallas Mavericks - said: ''Khloe and Lamar are taking a break from trying to have a baby while he settles into his new job back in LA. Lamar said that he and Khloe were trying for a baby, but admitted that he's not ready because he needs to give his all to his game.''
While Khloe is supportive of his decision, she is blaming herself for the situation.
The source added to America's In Touch magazine: ''Khloe feels like a failure.''
Khloe - who is thought to have undergone fertility treatment - has made no secret of her desire to have a baby but admits she was feeling under pressure to conceive.
Speaking last year, she said: ''People keep saying, 'Why aren't you pregnant yet?' That's what scares me, when people are like, 'Did you go to the doctor? Do you know if everything's working?' It's nerve-racking. Sometimes I feel like I'm letting everyone down.''
Lamar already has two children, Destiny, 13, and 10-year-old Lamar Jr., from a previous relationship.

Actor Robert Pattinson wants to talk to director Rupert Sanders about what happened during his affair with girlfriend Kristen Stewart.
The 'Twilight Saga' actor is reportedly curious to know details of his girlfriend and co-star in the vampire films cheating on him with her 'Snow White and the Huntsman' director.
Devastated Robert moved out of the Los Angeles home he once shared with Kristen on Thursday (26.07.12) after photos were released late on Tuesday night revealing that Kristen, 22, had an affair with the married motion picture boss, 41.
A source close to Robert told RadarOnline.com: "Rob wants to have a man to man chat with Rupert to find out exactly what happened between him and Kristen.
"Kristen has already betrayed his trust by cheating, so he can't be sure that she will tell him exactly what went on between her and Rupert. Rupert has a wife and a family to save, so Rob feels like he has nothing left to lose and would be honest with him."
The insider went on to reveal that Robert feels doubly betrayed because he trusted Rupert as the director of Kristen's film and had no idea the two were getting so close while he wasn't around.
The source said: "Rob really was blindsided by this and he's going through the typical stages of being cheated on. He was hurt and heartbroken, then angry and pissed off, and now he just wants answers.
"He's not ready to talk with Kristen, it's too painful, so he's going to Rupert."

Sir Paul McCartney closed the Opening Ceremony of the London Olympic Games last night, encouraging the crowds to sing along.
After the British band Arctic Monkeys covered 'Come Together' by his famous band the Beatles, the singer ended the show with the aptly titled 'The End' and 'Hey Jude'.
Sitting at grand piano, his performance was watched by his daughter Stella McCartney who has played a key part in designing Team GB's costumes.
Other high points during the event included Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling reading from Peter Pan and David Beckham bringing the Olympic flame along the River Thames in a speedboat.
The show's artistic director Danny Boyle also drafted in Rowan "Mr Bean" Atkinson for a comic act on the keyboards where he played the theme to British movie 'Chariots of Fire'.
England's Queen Elizabeth II declared the Games officially open and boxer Muhammad Ali took a role in the Olympic flag-bearing ceremony.
David and rower Sir Steve Regrave, who won gold medals in five consecutive Games, carried the Olympic flame on the final leg of the 12,800-mile relay.
A group of young athletes were chosen to light the cauldron.
Broadcast to a global television audience estimated at one billion, Universal Music said an album of the ceremony soundtrack would be on sale "within moments" of the ceremony ending.
UK Grime MC Dizzee Rascal had earlier taken to the stage to perform in his local area, the East End of London.
He said: "It is exciting to be part of the London 2012 Olympic Games opening ceremony. It is a good time for the UK and I am glad they asked me to perform one of my greatest tracks to represent the country."

Actor Robert Pattinson is being comforted by singer friend Katy Perry after learning Kristen Stewart cheated on him.
The 'Twilight Saga' star is getting support from the pop star following an apology from Kristen, who cheated with 'Snow White and the Huntsman' director Rupert Sanders.
The 26-year-old actor - who has moved out of the Los Angeles home he shared with his co-star and girlfriend - supported Katy when she went through her own split with comedian Russell Brand, 37, last year.
A source close to Robert told the Daily Star newspaper: "Katy has been a rock for Rob.
"She has reassured him she is very much there for him just as he was for her when she split from Russell. She has urged him to take a break with her."
Robert, who had been with Kristen for three years, has reportedly told her he needs at least two months to decide whether to take her back.
The source said: "He's angry, hurt and upset and is sick of people taking sides already.
"He's hoping to get two months to himself without Kristen around just to think things through. She has sent him messages asking him to hook up in New York for crisis talks next week but he wants to be alone."
The insider added: "His best friend has asked her to move her stuff out of his LA home. She only moved in two months ago."

Jo Wood says ex-husband Ronnie Wood was a ''rotten b*****d'' when they were together.
The 57-year-old former model was married to the Rolling Stones guitarist for 24 years, and while she admits she will ''always love'' the 65-year-old rocker, Jo often reflects on the bad times between the pair.
She said: ''I'll always love my ex-husband, but when I look back on stuff, I do think, 'Ooh, what a rotten b*****d he was.''
Jo is currently penning a revealing autobiography in which she plans to divulge the truth on the former couple's marriage - which saw her accompany Ronnie on tour with the band and stand by him during numerous spells in rehab for alcohol addiction - and she is concerned he won't speak to her when the book is published.
She explained: ''I don't know if he'll ever speak to me again. Oh, he'll be fine. It's the truth. It's not a lie. Maybe he'll realise how well I dealt with him.
''I worry people are going to think, 'What the hell was she doing staying with him? Why the hell didn't she just go?' But I had my family, I had my kids and I always have adored Ronnie.''
The couple's divorce was finally concluded last year - despite the pair splitting in 2008, when Ronnie ran off with 18-year-old cocktail waitress Ekaterina Ivanova - and Jo admits she broke down in tears when she had to leave their final marital home.
She said: ''I loved that house so much. It was like being a princess in a castle, and I was really sad to go. I knew that I couldn't stay there on my own - it cost so much to run - but it was heartbreaking. I cried my eyes out when I left.''
Jo - who has two children with Ronnie, Leah, 33, and 28-year-old Tyrone - insists her love life is very quiet at the moment because she can't find a boyfriend due to all the men looking for younger models.
She added to Style magazine: ''I don't have one. I don't get any dates. I mean, I did have one date the other day. All the guys want young girls. Maybe it's not my right time.''

Gillian Anderson ''never'' indentified with being gay ''100 per cent''.
The 43-year-old actress - who revealed to Out Magazine in March that she's previously been in relationships with women - admits she ''always knew'' she still liked men during her younger years, but she wanted to see what it was like to choose to experiment with the same sex.
She said: ''I was talking to Out about gays and choice, and the view that you can just choose not to be gay in some way. I decided to talk about it now because someone with whom I was in a relationship a couple of decades ago - a woman - passed away about a year ago.
''I was talking about her and, in the context of the gentle conversation we were having, I thought I would say that I have had a couple of relationships with women, but that wasn't my experience because I did have a choice. I always knew I still liked boys.
''Being gay was never something that I identified with 100 per cent, because I knew that for me it wasn't the only way.''
Gillian - who is a patron and fundraiser of the Trevor Project, a hotline which helps teens who are confused about their sexuality - believes it is an important time to speak up about her lesbian romances because there isn't a similar ''fear'' to be had with talking about same-sex relations as there was in the past.
She added to the Sunday Times magazine: ''I haven't spoken up about it before because there isn't the same fear and stigma now that there was. But she had just passed and I just wanted to speak about it in a matter-of-fact kind of way.''

Britney Spears isn't sure what type of wedding she wants.
The US 'X Factor' judge - who has been married twice before - is set to tie the knot with her former manager Jason Trawick and while he is keen to get married this Christmas, Britney is delaying plans as she is ''confused'' about whether she wants her nuptials to be huge or intimate.
A source told National Enquirer magazine: ''There is still no date or really even any plans in place yet. Jason really hope to get married around Christmas, and he wants to have a huge bash. Britney, on the other hand, is completely holding back from making any plans.
''She just isn't ready to commit to concrete plans, because she's not sure what the right thing to do is. She's confused. This is her third wedding, so she doesn't know whether she should go really big and make a huge statement or just do it super toned down.''
Britney was previously married to childhood sweetheart Jason Alexander, although their marriage was annulled after just 55 hours in January 2004.
She then wed dancer Kevin Federline in September 2004, and had two sons with him, Sean Preston, six, and five-year-old Jayden James.

Marvin Humes and Rochelle Wiseman have got married.
The happy couple tied the knot in a star-studded ceremony at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire on Friday (27.07.12), and the Saturdays singer revealed it was the ''best day'' of her life after the 27-year-old singer made her feel ''like a princess''.
In a post on the social networking site yesterday (28.07.12), the 23-year-old beauty wrote: ''Yesterday was literally the best day of my whole life. I'm so happy to have shared it with every1 I love my friends and family are priceless... Me and Marvin feel so blessed I felt like a princess all day :-)
''You can now call me Mrs Humes no longer a Wiseman :-) (sic)''.
The feeling was mutual for JLS singer Marvin, who wrote on the group's website: '''It's official! Rochelle & I got married yesterday..Thank you to everyone for your amazing messages of love & support..best day of my life Mx. (sic).''
Rochelle's bandmates Una Healy, Frankie Sandford, Mollie King and Vanessa White were bridesmaids at the ceremony, and JLS stars Aston Merrygold, Oritse Williams and J.B. Gill were in attendance to support Marvin.
Other stars on show at the wedding included singer Alexandra Burke, One Direction hunk Harry Styles and Olly Murs, but Myleene Klass is thought to have pulled out of attending the event in order to avoid seeing her estranged husband Graham Quinn, who has been a JLS tour manager for years.
Following Marvin and Rochelle's nuptials, the newlyweds were spotted leaving the Feathers Hotel in Woodstock, Oxfordshire, hand-in-hand and boasting large smiles.
After speculation the couple's marriage was set to take place yesterday, Olly accidentally let it slip that the wedding was going ahead on Friday.

Robert Pattinson was ''weeks away'' from proposing to Kristen Stewart before finding out she cheated on him.
The 'Twilight' star was due to ask for the brunette beauty's hand in marriage in the spring and he had even bought a £5 million Los Angeles mansion for the couple's future before being told of the 22-year-old star's affair with her 'Snow White and the Huntsman' director Rupert Sanders, 41.
A source told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: ''Robert hoped to marry Kristen and was making preparations to spring a proposal before she admitted cheating. He had bought the house in Los Angeles to be their home and saw them staying there for a long time.''
But since discovering the news, Robert - whose character in 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1' married Kristen's alter-ego onscreen last year - is ''angry'' with Kristen and the 26-year-old hunk has moved out of their LA home.
The insider added: ''Now Rob is angry - he's left the mansion and not spoken to her since. They have exchanged heated text messages only.''
After pictures of Kristen and Rupert together emerged, the pair publically confessed to cheating on their respective lovers, and the director has ''apologised profusely'' to his model-and-actress wife Liberty Ross - who played Kristen's mother in 'Snow White and the Huntsman' - in the hope he can save his marriage.
A friend explained: ''Liberty is hurting. But she's realistic. Things happen and marriage isn't easy - she just hates the fact her name's been dragged into all of this. Rupert has apologised profusely and she has accepted his apology. She hopes things get back on track - after all, they have kids together.''
Robert now wants to have a one-on-one chat with Rupert to find out ''exactly what happened'' between the filmmaker and his girlfriend.
A source said: ''Rob wants to have a man to man chat with Rupert to find out exactly what happened between him and Kristen.
''Kristen has already betrayed his trust by cheating, so he can't be sure that she will tell him exactly what went on between her and Rupert.''
Robert and Kristen are contractually obliged to be pictured side by side on the red carpet at the premiere of their final 'Twilight' movie together, 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2', later this year.
