According to an industry insider, there was an incident that took place back in 2010 where Hwayoung did not oblige with T-ara’s manager who asked the girls to prepare for their stage performance.
This brewed some quarrel amongst the girls, and Hyomin who grew tired of her attitude gave Hwayoung a piece of her mind, but Hwayoung reportedly refused to listen to Hyomin as well. Fellow member Jiyeon who was observing the situation also stepped up to say something to Hwayoung, causing the two to begin arguing. Following the fight with Hwayoung, Jiyeon was then unable to properly focus on stage, and the way the camera captured Jiyeon made it seem as though she had an attitude problem.
Meanwhile, CCM reported that Hwayoung suddenly refused to participate in T-ara’s July 27th ‘Music Bank‘ stage, with only two groups before them left to go. On the way home, Hwayoung, in front of fans and reporters, threw down her crutches and sat on the floor, threatening to yell at the managers in public.

Ng Hui goes back to school
Having just wrapped up filming Channel 8 drama Beyond, Ng Hui has decided that she will devote her time and efforts to other areas apart from acting. One of the major decisions she has made is to pursue a Masters in Art (Art Therapy) at the LASALLE College of the Arts. Ng Hui is a graduate from the Nanyang Technological University with an honours degree in Communication Studies.
Even though she still has one year left on her contract after renewing it last year, Ng Hui shared with xinmsn that MediaCorp has been supportive of her decision. She expressed that she has long wanted to improve herself but was not able to find a course that she was keen on.
She chose Art Therapy, which is a new discipline, and submitted an application when she found that the course timings suited her schedule. Ng Hui assured xinmsn that her return to the books would not signal the end of her acting career and that she would return during the holidays to film. "Since MediaCorp can accommodate me, that's good; but in reality, even if the company can't do so, my studies would come first."
Ng Hui shared that the course coordinator had warned her that she may have a lot of catching up to do, as her peers have experience in therapy or related disciplines. Expressing her determination, she commented, "Since I made the decision to study, (I) will devote all my time into this course."
Having had a keen interest in art from a tender age, Ng Hui disclosed that she had picked up her brushes recently and even entered an art competition.
Ng Hui, who is in the midst of filming drama Fair? Unfair?, expressed that her workload is not too heavy now, and trusts that she will be able to juggle both work and studies. As to her possible heavier study commitments in the future, she shared that she may have to disappear from showbiz for a while but assured that she would take on hosting jobs whenever possible. For now, she said, she's "taking things as they come".
