Is Eric Huang behind Myolie and Bosco's breakup?
In a surprising turn of events, reports over the weekend have claimed that it was Myolie Wu's infidelity that caused the breakdown on her eight-year relationship with Bosco Wong. Earlier reports had suggested that Bosco's philandering ways had triggered the split.
Taiwanese actor and ex-model Eric Huang has been thrust under the spotlight after his close relationship with Myolie sparked rumours that their budding relationship was the cause of Myolie and Bosco's breakup. Myolie and Eric met earlier this year on the set of mainland drama Jin Yu Man Tang, where the two play an on-screen couple.
The 41-year-old reportedly lavished attention on Myolie, who was giving the cold shoulder to Bosco at the time after he was caught partying with unnamed girls at a nightclub. Eric is said to have asked Myolie out for meals frequently and even visited the set with a steaming cup of coffee when he had no scenes to shoot.
His thoughtfulness reportedly moved Myolie and has been said to be the triggering factor that led her to end her longtime romance with Bosco.
An insider revealed, "Myolie started telling people that she would break up with Bosco about two weeks ago and finally called Bosco, who was in Shanghai, to do so. Bosco broke down in tears and said that he would definitely wait for her."
When questioned about the alleged romance, Eric's manager expressed that the actor was on vacation, but shared, "I don't think (they're dating)."

Myolie Wu:'Don't drag innocent people into this'
The star speaks up on rumours that Eric Huang caused the end of her relationship with Bosco Wong
Bosco Wong and Myolie Wu's recent breakup has left many in shock and fingers have been pointed in all directions to try to explain the split. Those who have been pulled into the fiasco include Chinese actress Liu Yan, who was accused to have caused Bosco's change in heart.
Recent reports have suggested that the infidelity was in fact on Myolie's part, linking her to Taiwanese heartthrob Eric Huang. Myolie has swiftly responded to the allegations and dismissed them as baseless accusations. Issuing a statement, she firmly commented, "In short, there was no third party involved on my part!"
Having implicated Eric, Myolie shared, "(I) really hope that there won't be too many fingers pointed at innocent people, as long as the two of us (she and Bosco) know the truth, it's enough."
Bosco, who has heard of the rumours, refused comment about the matter but his manager has clarified, "It shouldn't be the case", hinting that he and Liu Yan are just friends.
Chinese actress Tiffany Tang (Tang Yan) has also been blamed for the split. Tiffany, who is currently working on a project with Bosco fumed, "Don't they have anything better to do? Nonsense! Lesson of the day: You'll get shot even if you're lying down."
