Tang Wei attends premiere ceremony of Late Autumn in Beijing
As having expected for a year long, South Korean romantic movie Last Autumn (晚秋), which stars Korean actor Hyun Bin and Chinese actress Tang Wei (汤唯), is finally going to meet Chinese audience in this March, after it was released in local Korean theatres on February 17, 2011.
Tang Wei, who rose to prominence for her appearance in Ang Lee’s 2007 film Lust, Caution, won many awards for her outstanding performance in Last Autumn. On March 22, she appeared at the premiere ceremony of the film in Beijing, with a deep V neck and clean cut dress in white color, to help promote the film in Chinese market too.
In the ceremony, Tang Wei talked about the pleasure cooperation with Hyun Bin, and a romantic kiss scene with him, which was said to be the longest kiss in the history of Korean film.
Tang Wei said, there was no such a kiss scene in the script, but the director later added it after finding the “chemical reaction” between the two leads during the filming. Tang Wei added, she was very embarrassed to start the “kiss scene” over and over again at the time, because the director yelled “NG” many times in order to achieve a better result.
