Actress Zhang Yuqi walked the red carpet on Thursday for an awards ceremony that the 19th Beijing Student Film Festival (abbreviated SIFF) wrapped up with. She was warmly received with cheering, by wearing a deep V yellow gown.

The annual and month-long festival opened on March 25, 2012, and awarded a total of 19 Awards to its winners on Thursday.

Wen Zhang (for the second time) and Yan Ni won the cups in the Most Popular Actor and Actress categories respectively.

The Beijing College Student Film Festival, firstly launched in 1993, has been serving “as a bridge linking young people to film“, and “providing a stage for low-budget Chinese films for new directors and actors to make their debuts.”
