Jackie's private jet arrives in Shanghai

Jackie Chan has joined many other rich and famous people by becoming a private jet owner.

His new toy - manufactured by Brazilian jet maker Embraer - made its first appearance at the Singapore Airshow last month.

On Monday, Jackie travelled in his Legacy 650 jet worth US$30mil (RM91.71mil) to attend the 2012 Asian Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition in Shanghai, China.

The 13-seat private jet was also opened for the media. However, those who entered the cabin had to wear the slippers provided and specially made for the aircraft.

The aircraft is printed with two striking yellow and red dragons and has the words JC JET and Chinese character 'dragon', as Jackie's Chinese stage name is Dragon.

Other Chinese celebrities who have their own aircraft are Feng Xiaogang, Jet Li, Chen Daoming, Zhao Benshan, Jay Chou, Brigitte Lin, Fan Bingbing and Zhang Ziyi.
