The 'Silver Linings Playbook' star thinks she is a pushover and wants to learn how to be more assertive without upsetting other people.
She told Marie Claire South Africa's January 2013 issue: ''My New Year's Resolution is to stand up for myself. It's hard for me. Nobody wants to be disliked. You always want to be polite and be nice. I tried to find a balance in saying what I mean and still being nice. I can't do it. I have this 'okay' attitude and everything. I end up allowing myself to get walked over and resenting it.''
Jennifer, 22 - who is dating British actor Nicholas Hoult - also revealed she prefers staying at home rather than having wild nights out.
She said: ''I don't like going out that much. I'm kind of an old lady. After it's 11pm, I'm like 'Don't these kids ever get tired?' When I'm out, I think about my couch.''
While the stunning star has been blasted for her curvy figure, Jennifer has no plans to lose weight.
She added: ''I'd rather look chubby on screen and like a person in real life.''

''But now I have so many faces that I meet on a daily basis that I can't capture all of them.''
Cameron - who left school at 16 to pursue a modelling career - admits she has no idea how she managed to graduate from high school.
She said: ''I did graduate but I honestly have no idea how. I don't think I ever did one day of work in school.''
The 40-year-old actress was in fact something of a rebel when she attended Long Beach Polytechnic High School, and bought marijuana off budding young rapper Snoop Dogg, who was there at the same time.
She said: ''He was a year older than me. I remember him, he was very tall and skinny. He wore lots of ponytails. I'm pretty sure I bought weed from him. I was green even in high school.''

A source said: ''Even though he was with Rihanna, he still called Kae and told her Merry Christmas and told her how he misses her and how he hopes she was having a good day and all that s**t.

But Chris - who is still on probation for his assault on Rihanna - is said to have warned Karrueche he would be spending Christmas with the Bajan beauty.
The source added: ''Chris told Karrueche he was going to be with Rihanna for Christmas like two days before Christmas. Because he had told her already, she was just like 'F**k it, whatever.' ''

However, one area of her appearance Zooey doesn't put a lot of effort into is her nails.
She said: ''I don't care about my nails, I don't take care of them, I bite them but I do love nail art. I think it's fun. I love having nail art done, but as for regular manicures, I don't have time.''

Earlier this month, Jacob Kulke was arrested for trespassing at Taylor Swift's home in Nashville, Tennessee. Since, it has been determined that pursuing charges against him would be a waste of taxpayer money, so the charges have been dropped. WTF?!?
His attorney said that the prosecutors in the case decided against pursuing the charges because Taylor's people didn't actually see him as a threat. The lawyer said, "He is delighted. He wanted to prove that he didn't trespass and he is thrilled."
Apparently he got off because Taylor didn't have any "no trespassing" signs posted. Jacob also thought that it was okay to enter because he was said to have been given permission by the guards.
So basically Taylor didn't want to look like a douchebag for prosecuting a fan who just wanted to meet her?

A man arrested for trespassing at Taylor Swift's home has had his charges dropped.
Jacob Kulke, who was arrested for trespassing at Taylor Swift's home earlier this month, has had his charges dropped after it was decided the case would be a waste of taxpayers' money.

Jacob Kulke was caught on the grounds of the 'Red' hitmaker's property in Nashville, Tennessee on December 14, but his attorney Sean McKinney says prosecutors decided against pursuing the case because it would be a waste of taxpayers' money and the singer's representatives ''did not see him as a threat''.
He told E! News: ''He is delighted. He wanted to prove that he didn't trespass and he is thrilled.''
Sean explained a number of factors contributed to the charges being dropped, such as Taylor not possessing any ''No Trespassing'' signs, and because the 24-year-old fan thought he was allowed to enter the property after he was allegedly given permission by the guards.
However, prosecutors do still have a full year to decide whether or not to re-open the case if new evidence or information comes to light.
Taylor - who is currently dating One Direction singer Harry Styles - is not thought to have been at home at the time of the incident.
Meanwhile, Kulke is due to appear in court on January 29 to fight extradition back to Colorado, where he faces probation violations including a burglary charge.

According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, the 47-year-old star is allegedly being subpoenaed to testify in a lawsuit filed by his ex-wife Brooke Mueller's mother Moira Fiore over the purchase of the 'Anger Management' actor's house.
Moira claims she hasn't been given 25 per cent commission she was promised by real estate agent Marty Trugman - who has issued the subpoena for Charlie to testify - but he told the gossip website he didn't promise to give her any money.
But Charlie believes Moira - who claims the former 'Two and a Half Men' star gave her authority to find an abode - should give any money she receives to him or his and Brooke's three-year-old twins Bob and Max.
Brooke has been named as a key witness by both Moira and Marty.
But earlier this month, the 35-year-old mother-of-two left rehab for the 19th time after just six days in the treatment facility for drug addiction.
During Brooke's latest stint in rehab Charlie's second ex-wife Denise Richards stepped in to look after Bob and Max.
Speaking after Brooke had checked out of the treatment facility, the 'World is Not Enough' actress - who has daughters Sam, eight, and Lola, seven, with Charlie, as well as adopted Eloise, 18 months - said: ''[The twins] are back with Brooke Mueller.
''This is not the first time I've had all five, they're Sam and Lola's brothers. It was a full house, lots of love and life. Brooke knows anytime, and Charlie, that any time they need help with the boys, that I'm there.''

Charlie Sheen has become the center of a lawsuit, but at least this time he's not the one being sued! Charlie has been subpoenaed in the new lawsuit filed by his ex-wife, Brooke Mueller's mother, Moira Fiore. Apparently there was some drama with regard to the purchase of Charlie's hold house.
She claims that she wasn't given her commission on the sale of the property. She was supposed to receive 25 percent as her cut of the profits when the house sold, but she says she didn't receive the money. So she is suing real estate agent Marty Trugman over the monies.
Charlie, however, thinks that Moira should take the money that she earned from the house's sale and give it to her grandchildren Max and Bob.
What a weird, messed up situation. We're guessing that Max and Bob won't ever have to really work because of their father's success, so why would he think that Moira should have to give them her money?
