As reported on Jayne Stars, Edison had taken Ann (formerly reported as "Angela Meng") to meet his parents. However, his folks found 22-year-old Ann to be immature and unable to communicate with them.
Meanwhile, Ann reportedly feels that it is not important whether Edison's parents accept her or not, and believes that their relationship is only between the two of them.
Another rumour stated that Edison also planned a shopping date that included Ann and his mother in order to get them closer. The three of them were seen at the IFC supermarket, but Ann did not speak to Edison's mother at all and only smiled when talking to Edison.
The frustrated Edison allegedly took out his anger on the reporters instead, yelling at the paparazzi that were following them, "You guys are dogs!" before sarcastically wishing them Merry Christmas.

- Donnie Yen's new movie begins filming
"Ip Man" actor Donnie Yen has finally begin filming for his latest action movie, "The Iceman Cometh 3D" in Hong Kong.
Popular Asians reported that after the initial rumours that the movie will not be realised at all, producer Wong Kin Sun and director Law Wing Cheong were able to get the production going.
It was also revealed that the HKD 200 million-budgeted movie utilizes the same filming technology as Hollywood's "The Hobbit" and "The Amazing Spider-man", with the 3D cameras dubbed as the most expensive piece of equipment ever used in movies.
Scheduled for a mid or late 2013 release, "The Iceman Cometh 3D" is a remake of Yuen Biao's movie "The Iceman Cometh" (1989). Donnie plays an imperial guard from the Ming Dynasty who is caught in an avalanche and buried for centuries with his rival (played by Wang Baoqiang) until he was discovered several decades later. While their bodies are being shipped to Hong Kong for further analysis, they are accidentally revived, and their rivalry continues.
The movie also stars Simon Yam, Eva Huang, Mark Wu, Ava Yu, Shi Yongli, and Jacqueline Chong.

- Patrick Tang Cheats on Katy Kung
Apparently, Katy Kung is not the only one who is cheating in her relationship with ex-boyfriend, TVB actor Patrick Tang.Jayne Stars reported that after Katy Kung announced that she has ended her two-year relationship with Patrick Tang, rumoured followed that Katy was cheating on Patrick and dating "Living Up" cohost, 2009 Mr. Hong Kong Jack Hui. Now, it has been reported that Patrick has been sighted with various women at his place when Katy was hard at work in China.
The most recent 'other woman' turned out to be 2007 Miss Hong Kong, Kayi Cheung, after she and Patrick were caught leaving the in his brand new Mini Cooper.
It seems that Katy may have known that Kayi has been the other woman for a while, as she managed to identify the mystery woman in the paparazzi photos immediately. The two became close during filming for "Tiger Cubs" back in mid-2011.
38-year-old Patrick is known for his string of romances with beautiful actresses, such as Marsha Yuen and Selena Li. Although he is 16 years older than Katy, she had once believed that she found the love of her life.
- No "Cold Moutain" for Kevin Cheng
After earning big bucks for his mainland drama series, TV King Kevin Cheng hardly needs to work now, which is why he refused to star in the lead role for "Cold Mountain Hidden Dragon".
In a recent report by Jayne Stars, Kevin Cheng was asked by his mentor, TVB executive, Catherine Tsang, and executive producer Tommy Leung to play the assassin Ximen in the upcoming wuxia series, "Cold Mountain Hidden Dragon".
However, Kevin rejected the role immediately after he found out that wearing a bald cap is required. He told Catherine, "Please don't make me do it; you know I hate wearing the bald cap. It's going to make me lose my hair. Why don't you find someone else instead?"
When Catherine told him to shave his hair instead, Kevin allegedly became even more upset and said, "How can I make a living as a baldy?"
This made Catherine furious with Kevin, and she told the other producers not to ask him to film anymore TVB series in the future.It is unlikely that Kevin will be affected by this if it is true, since his role in last year's popular mainland drama, "Bu Bu Jing Xin", earned him RMB 400,000 per episode within a year. Kevin is also rumoured to be earning RMB 500,000 per episode filming the television drama, "Ip Man", compared to TVB's fee of HKD 15,000 per episode.
In addition, it was rumoured that Kevin is going to earn a whopping RMB 12 million to star in a mainland wireless mobile commercial.
