Hong Yi Jing (19), from Shapingba, Chongqing, was crowned Miss Tourism Queen International China 2012 during a spectacular event held in Wuhan, Hubei on May 13th.

Standing 179 cm tall, Jing will represent China during the 2012 Miss Tourism Queen International Finals to be held on September 28th in China.

Xia Mei Zi Crowned Miss Tourism Queen International China 2011
A 19 year old student of Xuchang University, Xia Mei Zi was crowned Miss Tourism Queen International China 2011 at the national finale held on April 26, 2011 in Port Arthur, Dalian.
Mei also won the titles of Miss Friendship and Port Arthur Ambassador. She will represent China in Miss Tourism Queen International 2011 to be held in China in July 2011.
Wang Lu - Xinjiang girl wins Miss Tourism International's China division
Wang Lu, a girl from Xinjiang who was just crowned China's representative in the Miss Tourism International 2010 competition. Wang Lu beat other 34 girls vying the title.
Wang Lu showed off her noble temperament, magnanimous spirit and dazzling evening wear looks over the last few days in Hangzhou.
The judging took two weeks and involved not only parading around in swimwear and evening wear, but also participating in a three-part reality competition and a scenic country tour.
The second and third places were Jiangsu athlete Anji and Henan deaf beauty Zhu Lijuan.
Wang Lu be competing in the finals "Miss Tourism International 2010" in Kuala Lumpar, Malaysia near the end of the year. Even if she doesn't win the main crown, she could get a chance to be "Miss Eyewear Beauty 2010" or "Miss Overtime Fresh Face 2010."

During the Miss Earth 2008 Green Environmental Protection Chinese Region pageant final on October 9, 2008 in Nanjing of Jiangsu Province, China. The beauty twenty-two-year-old, Ying Kun Zhou, was crowned Miss Earth China 2008.
She stands 1.82M and will represent China in Miss Earth 2008. The 8th Miss Earth beauty pageant, will be held on November 9, 2008 in the Philippines.

Last days, beauty contests winners are facing nightmares after being crowned.
As we had reported here before, the 1st runner-up Miss Dominican Republic Universe '12, Dulcita Lieggi, took the coveted dominican crown after Carlina Duran's dethronement. The actual winner, better known as Carola, admitted that she is divorced what breaks the pageant rules.

Maire Hughes was stripped of her Miss Ireland World '12 title, few days after winning the crown.
Organisers confirmed that Ms Hughes will be outside the age limit by the time the Miss World competition takes place in August and as a result, the title was given to the first runner-up, Rebecca Maguire.

Vinu Udani Siriwardhana who was initially declared Miss Sri Lanka World '12 saw her dreams crumbling when the organisers made an announcement that there was a calculation error. The real winner was Sumudu Prasadini.

The title is now shared by Vinu and Sumudu as joint winners, but who will represent Sri Lanka in Miss World is Sumudu, while Vinu will have to wait to participate in another international beauty pageant before the end of this year.
At the event held for the panel of judges, Noeline Honter (judge) said she was shocked when the announcement was made saying that Vinu was the winner.
"Though we voted individually I had the feeling that the title winner must be Sumudu. After the event we talked to each other and as there was some doubt about the winner we informed the Derana management that there must be a mistake in the final decision. We got together the very next day and the management also realised that there was a mistake in the calculation. However, being a member of the panel of judges, I'm really glad that Derana (organization) had the courage to accept the mistake and decide that there should be joint winners without causing any heartache to the winner who was selected earlier".

Ina Macheva had her Miss Bulgaria World '12 crown revoked after it was established that a hacker attack had manipulated the online vote of the audience turning the rankings.
The first runner-up Gabriela Vassileva is the new Miss Bulgaria World.

The audience vote counted as 3 points, but a check of the organizers revealed the manipulation and showed that Vassileva was actually one point ahead of Mancheva.
The votes for Mancheva had come in large numbers from some very distant places in Asia such as Bangladesh and Pakistan.
"This decision is hurting my self-esteem, but made me wiser... This pageant must be honest. I wish Gabriela luck at the world contest. I feel offended because these results had to be checked earlier," Mancheva commented.

Miss Philippines Universe 2012 is Janine Tugonon
MANILA, Philippines - Janine Tugonon may not have brought home the crown in last year's Binibining Pilipinas pageant, but she was among the newly-crowned beauties in this year's competition.
Tugonon, a 5'9" ballet dancer who hails from Bataan, was crowned 2012 Binibining Pilipinas Universe in the coronation night at Araneta Coliseum on Sunday, April 15, after besting 29 other candidates.

2nd Runner Up: Ali Forbes
Tugonon, a Pharmacy cum laude graduate from the University of Santo Tomas, will carry the crown of last year's Binibining Pilipinas-Universe Shamcey Supsup. Incidentally, Tugonon also joined last year's competition along with Supsup, but placed only as first runner-up.
Unlike Supsup who got a lot of special awards last year, Tugonon did not receive any special award in this year's competition. But it was her answer in the Q&A part that gave her an edge among the other finalists for the crown.
Tugonon responded to the question of judge Jose Manuel Rodriguez, who asked: "Many women nowadays forego a happy family life for a successful career. How do you feel about this?"
"I believe that women have the right to choose between what they want. But for me, just go for what God wants you to do. Between the two, whatever it is, you must do what's your purpose in this world. Just have a child-like faith and mature obedience, and everything will go smooth," said Tugonon.
Last year's second runner-up, MJ Lastimosa, also joined this year's competition, but was unplaced.

The 2012 Miss Philippines Earth competition will be scheduled to take place on May 27 at the Center Stage of SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City. The reigning queen, Athena Mae Imperial will take her final walk and crown her successor during the event.
The new winner will represent the country in Miss Earth 2012 later this year. Also, participants and winners work on the environmental-social-humanitarian advocacy of the pageant.
This year's theme has aligned itself with the 2012 declaration of the United Nations General Assembly as the "International Year of Sustainable Energy for All" as it centers this year’s pageant edition with the promotion of sustainable energy that is accessible, cleaner, and more efficient which is essential for the achievement of sustainable development.
