Adele's 21 tops Billboard chart for 21 weeks
Congrats, Adele!
There's no stopping British songbird Adele now as she continues to chalk up another record in her career.
After earning six nods at the recent Grammys, the 24-year-old finds herself beating Whitney Houston on the Billboard chart.
Her sophomore album 21 - the one that helped her rule at the music industry's biggest night - has now surpassed Houston's The Bodyguard album as the longest running No. 1 album by a woman on the Billboard 200 album chart. This is its 21st week at the top spot - its popularity mostly driven by Adele's win at the Grammys last week.
For your information, the album has so far sold a total of 7,353,000 copies in the United States and recorded a worldwide sales of a whopping 20 million.
