Story
Set during China's Three Kingdoms period, in the Lions Roar 2 a respected father despairs of his sassy unmarried daughter Ying Ying and persuades her to marry within a year. Her match is China's greatest military strategist of the time, Zhuge Liang. Liang has had trouble finding women who are both attractive, clever and strong willed. Ying Ying and Liang agree to a bet/trial marriage for a year and become husband and wife. Kind off.
Their state is soon at war and Ying Ying puts her martial skills to the test and enlist in the army to save her husband.
Editor's Review of The Lion Roars 2 – 4/10
The best single word to describe this movie is boring. Cecilia Cheung puts on a decent performance but the story is lame, the action sequences unrealistic and unconvincing, the pace monotonous, the script flat and the characterization almost non existent. Watching this movie without falling asleep is a struggle.
