Leehom joins Zhang Ziyi's film

Zhang Ziyi is currently starring in and producing the romantic comedy "My Lucky Star". On the last day of July, the actress-turned-filmmaker wrote on her Weibo that filming had recently kicked off. She also shared a couple of behind-the-scenes photos.

Although Zhang didn't mention it in her post, singer-actor Leehom Wang was seen in one of the photos. A source close to Zhang later confirmed that Leehom Wang was on board as a cast member, although the source also said that it's not yet time to introduce his character.

Previous reports say that American director Dennie Gordon will helm "My Lucky Star" and that Zhang Ziyi is working with Village Roadshow Entertainment Group Asia, which is billing itself as a platform between the Chinese film industry and Hollywood.

The plot is still a mystery, but it is believed to be similar to "Sophie's Revenge", Zhang Ziyi's debut as a producer.
